New vid, yay, gonna be a good day! That number 2 sticker on the screen is giving both my OCD and ADHD the ick. I would just end up staring at it and I'd inevitably crash.

I bought one of these ,for the money they are excellent ,I put a 44 tooth rear sprocket on standard is too low ,I live in wales where there are loads of green lanes ,bike is perfect ,pulls up anything ,engine is very tractable ,soaks ground up well ,good bike ,but time will tell as to longevity

Definitely very different from what you normally ride, looking forward to seeing what you think about it. Looks like a fun bike.

What does the number 2 on the windshield mean?. Thanks for the video and take care.

That’s to match bike with keys when all the demo bikes are together and the keys are in a bucket 😅

Terrified of off roading so you're off to the MOD's tank training/testing range? 😂 Looking forward to that video! Definitely interested in your experiences with that and the bike - @nathanthepostman and a few others certainly seem to have had a lot of positive things to say about the bike, particularly for the money!

@@R1_Liz You got this, you'll be fine! Some of the places you take Pinky on road tyres, Salisbury Plain on the Voge will be a walk in the park! 🤞

I have a klx250 and love the engine, believe the vogue is a 300 licensed copy. Also have a CRF Rally and the suspension on that is appalling as standard. Laning is better for a new green laner on a bike you can get your feet down on, watch Nathan the postman's videos on light, low and slow bikes to learn on, be safe!

The front pads are probably utter gash. The master cylinder and caliper look ok. Rest of the bike looks ok, i'd be interested in how it stacks up long term.

I 5ft 3 so bob hope trying that 😂 looks nice though. My husband had the Honda 250 Rally and my feet would just dangle in the air when I sat on it, the suspension did not move.

@R1_Liz I understand. I want a Kawasaki ninja 1100sx but can't afford two bikes. Im happy with my Husqvarna norden 901 and i try to ride in the Italian alps at least 3 times a year.

I had one of those as a courtesy bike straight onto the M6 in the pissing down rain on a bike that doesn't go round corners and the brakes are definitely awful😂

What bike were you riding by comparison? A 21" skinny front wheel with a trail tyre is never going to be as confidence inspiring as a 17" road bike wheel/tyre combo in the wet - especially on an unfamiliar bike. Likewise - what brakes are you used to? Trail bikes have softer, less aggressive brakes because they're designed to be used on surfaces with far less grip than a tarmac road..or they would lock up as soon as you applied the brakes hard. The Rally 300 brakes are perfectly adequate for that type of bike, I've never had an issue in stopping, the ABS is good and not too intrusive + it's switchable for off road use. Using both front and rear brakes together will reduce stopping distances...

Liz. Couple of questions. What's the thing which looks like the number 2 on the screen. And do you think the brake is set up right?
@R1_Liz4 ай бұрын
Yo Number 2 is to identify it with key number 2 (it was used in the ABR fleet so 10 identical bikes and 10 identical keys), I didn’t notice it while I was riding but it’s quite prominent in the video.. I might move it 😬 Brakes probably just a bit weaker than what I’m used to, apparently my friends ones have the same issue - at least it means I’m less likely to go ass over tit when I panic grab a handful of front lever…
@andrewjones16494 ай бұрын
@R1_Liz I bought a second-hand Mash to turn into a street scrambler for Suz to muck about on, and the front brake was awful. I stripped it down, and the disc had been bolted to the wheel in such a way as to warp the disc. The previous owner had done nearly seven thousand miles on it like that.

Don't just think off roading. As our roads deteriorate further and further these type of bixe will become even more popular. Although as I'm same height as you but with only 29" inside leg it's far too high for me!

It’s weird, once you’re sat on it it kinda shrinks so it’s a bastard to get on and off but once you’re on its ok

Hi Liz, your right 920mm seat height crazy 🤪, your lucky being 5ft 7 inches tall, I am just 5ft 1 inches short, my bike 🏍 has a seat height of 770mm and I can just about get my feet down, do they make motorcycle boots 👢 with 6 inch heels 😂. I'm afraid I don't like camping at all, B&B for me! , But it wouldn't pay for everyone to be the same. But one thing in common we both love bikes 🏍 👍. Have a good time in Salisbury, and I look forward to your video. Take care, Best wishes Roy 🙂.

Hey Liz, I am suspicious of bikes made in China. Should I be more open minded? Would you consider buying a bike made in China, with your own money? I'm glad to see that the power of prayer still has a place in modern society and can help stop a motorcycle.
@R1_Liz4 ай бұрын
Most of your stuff comes from China anyway, and some of these brands are offering some really good deals, warranties and after care. My main beef is when these brands blatantly copy others but a lot of the new stuff is unique and there’s some really nice looking bikes coming into the scene. There are a couple that I’ve seen that I would consider (if I had any money to spend 😅) - later in the year I’m hoping to demo some so I’ll be able to talk a bit more in depth about it. The purpose for me having this bike is to do some greenlaning and show you all a mini experience with a good budget option for novice off-roaders 😁
