Me if I see the original trains of the dc metro trains again... their vibes somehow don't equate to a modern train.

a modern train would have had usb chargers inside, small tv screens that play ads that the mta can make money off, removing that center pole in the seating area, I can go on. this isn't really an upgrade from those electronic trains similar to these we saw about 15 years ago

There are a lot of fresh videos on KZbin about New York's new R211 train. I keep getting them in recommendations and reading rave reviews. Excuse me, can someone explain why there is such great joy? These trains are previous century technology! If anyone wants to see what a modern subway is like, look for a video about the Big Circle Line (the longest in the world) in Moscow, opened on 03/01/2023.

@@Sergey_Bezhentsev The R211A is designed to be more energy-efficient and feature modern amenities for passengers, such as digital displays and USB charging ports. The R211A will be equipped with the latest safety features, including a collision avoidance system and an automatic train control system that will allow for more precise stopping at station platforms. Lastly, The R211A will also feature improved accessibility for riders with disabilities, including wider doors, more space for wheelchairs and strollers, and audio and visual announcements.
