NYC Subway: New R211A in Passenger Service Day 2: via the F Line & to Lefferts- March 11th, 2023

Today is Day 2 of the R211A 30 day revenue service testing. This time GOs in place affecting A service- Uptown trains run via the F from Jay St-Metrotech to West 4 Street. Uptown trains also run local from West 4 Street to 125 Street.

Will not happen for decades. This is NYC you're talking about. They will not give the nice stuff to the lines that serve predominantly white and Asian neighborhoods.

@@ninochekhoshvili9332 so what’s gonna happen to the cars that are currently running on the (E), (F) and (M) lines. Ok understandably, if they wanna to retire the 50 years old cars, but the ones that are currently running on those lines are not that old, they are still fairly new.

I’m so jealous of you. I went looking for the 211’s twice within the past week and haven’t seen (much less rode) on one yet. How did you get so lucky?? Is there a way that one can find out if they are indeed running before setting out on what for me, has turned into a wild goose chase up to now??
