R36S Booting Failure (FIXED) - New SD Card and ArkOS

I just watched your before and fixed vid just now. I will try this to fix my k36 handheld. But as watching your before video you reminded me the games was on a sd card. So I just happen to have a Logitech G Cloud with a few emulators on it like NES, PSP, Nintendo 64, and Dreamcast and when I transferred some to them they actually worked!

I'm glad the game roms worked out for you on those other emulators.. Is your K36 handheld doing this same thing when it try's to boot up or what is happening with it?

@ ​​⁠The loading screen just comes on then just shuts off. No lines of data like yours. I would have it charging for hours and it would stay red. Even though I was able to transfer some games to my other handheld I don’t have all those emulators and will still attempt to still have my K36 fixed

@@Showbolt1​​⁠ I saw a comment on the other video that you might want to try if you haven’t already. He said to boot it up, hold the power button in and the volume up also. I don’t know if it will work but it’s worth a try.

I have cloned the stock card to the exactly the same card model SanDisk . It seems that the arkos constantly corrupt the cards and the system then shows missed games . For example it happened to me that all games menu showed only 3000 games available out of 15000. Doing the clone again from stock card . The arkos I used was the latest version dated 27.11.2024

Thanks for the message! I did the same with a new SD Card and latest ArkOS and its working great now.. Waiting to do this with my Miyoo Mini + now that is acting up and get the new Onion on it..

@@satanicconservative1855 I hear yah! But that’s why they are cheap. The sd cards are crap and older operating systems you want updated. So many problems out there with these. I just received a Miyoo Mini plus and am waiting for a new sd card to arrive because the one it came with is crap and the OS will be updated to Onion..

Played crystal for 2,5 hours. The game saved as i was going back to menu. When I turned the console off and back on and I wanted to play crystal again, when I start the game it gives a white screen and won’t start. Please help…? R36s device

You may have to do what I did and replace the SD Card as I did in this video. Hope you get yours fixed!

@@yannickpierreux6661 Ok, try this, Power the device on and hold the power button in while pressing UP on the volume. That was one comment to try. If that doesn't work another comment said to charge it with the cable that came with the console and try booting it up while its charging. I tried everything that I read to try and get mine fixed to boot properly but nothing worked so that is why I ended up buying a new Micro SD Card from SanDisk and the Card Reader you see in this video to read the Micro SD Card. The guys video I used to help me through this process is here.. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5qylImfqambpac&ab_channel=SjslTech I was worried when doing this all but it worked out and mine is working now. Just follow this guys step by step instructions if you end up having to do it this way.

@@ryhuyt When you put the new SD Card in the R36S does the new ArkOS load at all? You don't need the roms on the card yet because the ArkOS system should load even if you don't have any roms on the card. If not you will have to install ArkOS again from the beginning. Is that the furthest your console gets and keeps repeating that screen over and over? Have you tried starting it up when it’s plugged in with the original cord?

Yes, My R36S only came with the one 64 GB Card with both ArkOS and the games on the one card. Some, like yours came with two cards. The guy whose video I followed had another video to show you how to do things if you had the two card console.

Are you using the cord that came with it? What is it showing you exactly?
