Sooner than expected I was able to get the Mini back out on track. I was able to replace all the bushing on the car and install my oil pressure and temperature gauges. Unfortunately, my method of access the oil failed and caused a huge oil leak. I missed two of my six sessions while I fixed it, but other than that, this car was amazing. It does so well; it's so tossable. I'm not sure if I ever got it on three wheels, but you can really chuck it into a corner and balance it on the edge. I was still giving point-bys like crazy, but people were really only pulling away on the massive straight. In the corners, this thing was stellar. Honestly, I have nothing else I plan to change on this car for the foreseeable future; it's great.
MaxSpeed Track Days were also great. They ran by far the best track day I have ever been to. I love Just Track It, NASA, and even the SCCA, but MaxSpeed went the extra mile in providing food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their entire crew was just so welcoming and helpful. I will definitely be tracking with them in the future.
