R53 Mini Steering Wheel Change

For the long time I have owned this car, the steering wheel has always been a bit of an eyesore (for me). I had plans to put on a sports wheel of some sort, but with the changing MOT regulations, I need an airbag. Bring in a number of companies these days, who are making custom steering wheels from the standard wheel. For me I chose Brothers Custom Steering Wheels, for the shape that they add to the wheel, you can find them on Facebook, Instagram and eBay.

I always find if you don't have a shed or a paint booth spraying in a bit cardboard box helps to not get dirt and grim onto the thing your painting

What about the controls that were on old wheel ..sound system control , hands free phone, cruise control etc. ? Dumped in favour of cute wheel ??

Hi, i want to do the same rep’acement. Where did you get this airbag ? Cause those im finding are have alwas obly one airbag plugs conector ! wich model comes with these two grzen and black plug conectors ? I cant find it wich mini steering wheel model dis you catch r53 ? R56 ? Please help me !!

I changed my steering wheel as yours, did all as you did, but when im turning my new steering wheel there is some clicking noise….whats the problem?
