The turbo Mini Cooper S gets @CTSTurbo high performance ignition coils. Part number CTS-IGN-008 They look great and I can’t wait to really use them when I turn up the boost. www.ctsturbo.c...

Love this, Would be great to replace the rubber housing on the connectors too, definitely an upgrade I'll do in the future

Hello, My check engine light came on after ECU tuning, I am getting codes P300, P301, P302, P303, and P304 could these be the coils, I have the original ones. I replaced the spark plugs and it just passed smog but the check engine light is still on.

Hey! I own a Mayfair 2010 Mini Cooper S… It would have been interesting if u had compared IP Ignition Coil Pack vs CTS Turbo Ignition Coils…. 👀

If IP wants to send me some to compare. I have no interest in spending that much on coils though. The CTS Turbo ones are a nice upgrade from OE and there’s no need to spend that much on IP’s.

i got them are they any good? i think they are the same only with red color on top

I like them. They’re higher voltage output over stock for a more consistent spark.

Hello, Thank you for the content. I own a R56 Cooper S N18 AT with Stage 2 Tuning. I am currently using Delphi GN10572-12B1 ignition coils together with NGK 97968 Laser Iridium spark plugs. I was having misfire issues so I decided to change my rear fuel pump and replaced it with AEM E85 340 LPH, together with my rear fuel filter and spark plugs. Even though it is rare, it sometimes feel like the car is misfiring and cutting boost accordingly. Would you recommend to switch my Delphi ignition coils to CTS Turbo's that you showed? Would it be worth it to do so? Thank you very much in advance for your response. Regards from Turkey.

Thank you. It definitely wouldn’t hurt. You’ll have a stronger, more consistent spark. I’d also check your spark plug gap. Maybe the additional boost is blowing out the spark with the stage 2?

@@recklesslyfestyle I’ll give a try. I was using the regular gap of the plug from the factory and did not cause me any problems so far except now

What makes these better than OEM?

Higher voltage output over stock for a more consistent spark. Other than that they are built to meet all OE specs. Plus I like the look.
