Small two-wheel type dirt bikes are better, but deserve just as much caution regardless of the circumstances.

4:31 imagine just everyone gets hurt off that wall. The cop jumps down and breaks his leg, the ambulance drives over it and catches on fire. The fire truck comes and crashes over the ledge and they all just end up on the ground right there. It’s that WALL in the middle of nowhere that’s the real problem, not the ATV.

Definitely a fast paced episode for the first three stories, each lasting around 9 to 10 minutes. The big story in this episode was the last one, titled Bone Marrow. I liked when Rescue 911 did these kind of stories as they deviated from the norm. That's a highlight story for me as well as Knoxville Intruder. Very tense 911 call and no harm was done to the lady. Very suspenseful to say the least. Thoughts?

It's nice to know he did not lose his leg, it could've been a lot worse. He really is no different than many adult drivers. According to the video recap, he diverted his eyes away from the direction he was traveling. If he kept his eye on the path, he would've seen where his path was coming to an end, and he would've turned most likely.
@LindaCooper-i3f10 ай бұрын
How true that is.

That looks like a 50cc quad bike in the first story (about the smallest that you could buy at the time without putting a moped engine in one yourself) but there were ways to limit its power that would've been very easily done even back then. Putting smaller jets in the carburettor and retarding the timing a few degrees would've cut its power output by at least half (sure it would run rich and smoke like a chimney) and installing a limiter on the accelerator thumb switch that prevented it from going all the way forward would cut the power output even further. The kid isn't going to be able to tell the difference between going 5mph and 15 mph if it doesn't have a speedometer on it anyways. Back then it was far easier to make those things safe for kids to use than it is today thanks to all the fancy electronic systems that make it basically impossible to change any of the engine settings like timing, fuel flow/delivery or accelerator position.

It was a re-enactment and probably the motor was controlled in that case. In the real incident, it is certainly possible the ATV was more powerful and larger.

The reason that child had the ATV accident is that the adults were not supervising him. The blame lays clearly on their shoulders. The second segment…. I have had people break into my home before twice. I have also owned and trained dogs for 34 years. Saying that someone might think a pet was an intruder is a bit ludicrous to me. I have *never* mistaken my dogs as intruders and I am a paranoid person sometimes, (PTSD). -Saoirse, West Belfast, NI

What was a five-year-old doing on any ATV, let alone unsupervised? That family, especially that mother, clearly did not possess common sense. I'm glad the boy lived to grow up, but there's something seriously wrong that it took him nearly getting killed and/or losing his leg for his mother to start learning basic parenting skills.

Lady you can quite getting smart about riding on motorcycles four wheelers and three wheelers and cars and just about everything other transportation that there is because I have on a lot of them and I will still get back on them and dont be surprised if your son gets back on them again in the near future because once you have all ready been on one you can't stop riding them it's in their blood
