That was brilliant thanks. Im brutal with altering or working on my bike and this is a great help. Have you extracted any extra bhp out of your R nine t? I have one for the road and i feel it could do with 10 more horses. Its a great bike over all though. Great work again.

Hey there Pep, it's great to hear you enjoyed the video😀. It was fun making it. No I haven't pulled anymore power out of the R NineT...as of yet. The 2014 model comes with 110bhp. After saying that I am in the process of stripping the bike right down to the bone. During the rebuild I wont make any invasive engine mods, but will be installing some electronic wizardry and a few other performance enhancing mods. All will be revealed in future videos🤓. So if you are interested , keep your eyes 👀peeled for the channel notifications. It may be a while, as I am still waiting for some other parts to come from Europe (Covid shipping delays 😆) and I'm about to escape winter for a long awaited holiday🤓....take care out there Pep 👊✊. Cheers Matt

What size in mm should I buy? Same bike… great video!

Hey there @Josefallassibaja, Is your bike a K21 R9T? The fork stanchions on different models have different sized diameters. Hence the clipons I used for racing may be different to those you need. To be sure, you can just measure your stanchions with a vernier gauge.

What is the torx size for the starter cover?
@outtheresomewhere Жыл бұрын
Hey there @chappyc4956, that screw is a little bugger when you first try to get it out, as it's not obvious even if it is a torx or hex head. But it is a torx, and from memory it is a T1. Preferably use a long torx key, that ensures you don't go in at a slight angle, making things difficult. Let me know how you get on. 👍👊✊️🙂

one thing is missing if you wanna do the job right, you will need a shorter brake line. it works with the original one but it will get damaged over time. i also recommend getting a shorter clutch line. for you that might not be the case as you dont have the headlight installed.

Thanks Kowalski, spot on!👍 yes if you want to permanently stay with clipons while having a headlight in place, you are absolutely right! I've left the original lines in simply due to it not being an issue for me as I race in B.E.A.R.S (as you mentioned, no headlight), the lines are braided, and its handy to easily be able to switch back to the original setup without having to also switch the brake lines.😀 Thanks for your comment, your point is really useful for our R9T community🤗👍👊✊️
