I think it was back in the summer of 2002, my best friend and I were at a market in our hometown. We were walking around and we heard bits and pieces of "Do You Call My Name" playing somewhere. We looked all over to find where the music was coming from. Eventually, we found the stereo that was playing it at a vendor's booth. They just so happened to be selling From One. We listened to that album all year long and have been listening to RA ever since. I have so many memories tied to their music. I cannot believe it has been over 20 years that I have been a fan.

This band is brilliant beyond explanation. Great lyrics. Relatable story telling within their music. Riffs that hook into your soul and become an anthem to all that's right and wrong in your own world. Not many albums do that for me, except for RA!! Rock on fellas!!

Tru story: my first concert was Disturbed with Ra as the opener and Stereomud (?) in the middle. The place went completely dark and they opened with Sky...when the beat started the crowd started getting restless and then he belted out that "I shut my eyeeeeeeeesss" and the lights came up and the crowd went nuts. It was simple, it was perfect and I have been chasing that dragon ever since.

When you're 42 and you stumble on your early 2000s favorite band and they still putting out bangers! I remember meeting Sahaj at the House of Blues in Boston when they opened for Powerman 5000 and Stone Sour... all this time later it's still etched in my head like a vivid picture!
