RA TECH CO2 mag for Ksc & Kwa Glock series review

I rock one in my KSC G19! I love it! Its allot heavier so when I carry it mexican style it sags a bit more, but in my SERPA holster it fits great, but sits more lke a G17 since its slightly extended :/ However it hits harder than propane even in sub zero temperatures, I literally pulled it out of a bank of snow and emptied the mag. Since CO2 is harder on your gun and theres no oil, I would recommend using a propane/green gas mag loaded with green gas or propane mixed with silicon oil (you can do it yourself) every 1000 shots or whatever. Great solution wherever you play, if your game goes into the night you can switch to the CO2 mag to compensate for the temperature drop and when the the day comes back you go back to your propane mags! I plan to buy another CO2 mag and one more standard propane G19 stock mag. I have 3 mags total already.

You need to make these for tokyo marui glocks as well. Make them for the fifty round mags along with the standard ones. Those would be awesome

I believe the reason they cannot make any new CO2 magazines is because of the NS2 system. Those KSC/KWA glocks do not use the NS2 system, so the mags work for them.

Agree with Darren Davies' comment below: I tried a total of 4 of those magazines (ordered from evike) and all 4 leaked all the CO2 through the top vent in under 1 second. I guess there's a reason why RA Tech discontinued them -- they're a lovely concept, though.

No, since WE and Marui are mainly compatible, hopefully though they will develop one for the WE series.

can the gas nozzles inside the KSC glock handle CO2? Are they reinforced? If not im worried they will break after a few magazines.

Will this be move into USP system as well? Jet Funnel and regular magazine. Also PLEASE use hex key (4mm+) for breaking CO2. Hex is alot easier to use with allen key, it's also less likely to strip

You should make 49 rds long magazines aswell :D And there is a big market for CO2 magazines for other guns as well, imagine if you made CO2 upgrade nozzle kits and magazines for TM Five-Seven, MK-23, Sig Sauer P226 etc etc... I would be broke :p

@ARX7ARBALESTZ7 First I'd recomend a good clean of your gun, If that dosen't sort the problem its probably a broken/warped piston head getting caught on the nozzle as it comes back. Also check the nozzle springs, they often fail. More importantly, get someone to look at it if you don't know how to dissasemble it. You could do more damage than good.

if you use it in a TM you will literally destroy the gun... its not strong enough to use CO2... abs plastic is a deathwish for CO2. DO NOT USE CO2 IN TM!you will only break it after about 3 mags i bet.

FirstPersonFun Agreed however if you get the proper metal upgrades like the metal slide (by hurricane I think? not sure) and some other stuff you should be good. Honestly I prefer my KSC G19 having handled the TM Glock 17 and 19 but the TM's do have the edge with accuracy, those things shoot very very accurate but for a simple, rugged, reliable side arm out of the box that really faithfully represents a real Glock the KSC G17/G19/G26 are perfect, harder to find but IMO better than the ATP in the looks department and satisfaction XD, I schooled a few friends with ATP's, probably didn't matter but just a fun note.
