I agree that Krishna was on Dharma's side but think twice you will see the lack in him as well. Krishna had always given priority to the Pandavas. The whole Mahabharata has not done justice with the Kauravas. What about their part of the story, it is not well narrated. The Kauravas just wanted their legal rights on the throne of Hastinapur that too when Duryodhana was the legitimate crown prince, was it not injustice on Krishna's part to support a side which is into grabbing someone else's property. I recommend you the AJAYA SERIES BOOK by ANAND NEELAKANTAN. You will get to acknowledge an untold story of the Kauravas. This book depicts Mahabharata but from the perspective of Duryodhana. Hope you will like it. It's literally the best mythological fiction I've ever read.

Do you realise that it wouldn't have even began if Duryodhan didn't do the Lakhya griha thing and then if he had just gave them some small part of the kingdom to rule and stay there same as he gave the kingdom of Anga to Karna ?! (As to Krishna's demand ) It's all about perspective reshaping by authors with different mindsets . If you go to Lanka and read about Ravan he would be recognised as the hero too .

If Kauravas would have won then Krushna not Krishna saving Draupadi part and Draupadi bastraharan part would have vanished from the epic and the same with Lakshya griha , giving poison Laddoo to Vim , Aswathama killing the 5 kids secretly , and Ashwathama using his Brahmastra towards the child would all have been erased from the epic . No matter who wrote it it matters what people get to hear or read in the next generation. Especially a generation who has lost it's identity under foreign rulers it's very natural to go with the available scriptures and we don't even know what's right or wrong at this point .

@@ankitSinghsayzz._ Bundela clan is a branch of Gaharwar Rajput clan of Vidhyachal region or who are belong to Kashi(benaras), Mirzapur, Prayagraj, etc. Gaharwar is one of the oldest kshatriya clan till existing today. They were the old and real rulers of Kashi(varanasi). Some reports says that after the destruction of Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple by 'Padshah Aurangzeb' Gaharwars lost all control over that area and there state got divided into many parts. After the Aurangzeb invasion to Kashi, many Gaharwars got converted into islam, some of them were migrated to Bihar-Jharkhand... some of them take help from rewa(m.p.) state Baghela king, Chandela kings, and fight back against the invaders and save their territories!! And those states were "Kantit-Vijaypur"(Mirzapur) and Manda(Prayagraj) existed till the Independence of India... The families belongs to these states are the real Gaharwars (They're the descendants of Maharaja Jaychand's younger brother Manikchand of Kannauj). Maharaja Jaychand's descendants got migrated to Rajputana(rajasthan) from Awadh and established their kingdoms. Today we know them as Rathore kshatriya clan!! Yes, Gaharwars and Rathores are brothers, there gotra,ved,ishtdevta,etc are almost same!! They trace their ancestry from Lord Rama's younger son luv. Hence, they belongs to Suryavanshi kshatriya gotra. Historically, they migrated from south(karnataka-maharashtra) region. There recent ancestors were from the Rashtrakutas empire!! There history and legacy is very big, old and glorious!! Many things to share but, not possible here to discuss all the things. Atlast, I'd say if Bundela rajputs are descendants of Gaharwar rajputs then they also belongs to Suryavanshi kshatriya gotra! They can also call themselves as the descendants of lord Rama. Some historians categorized them into Chandravanshi kshatriya because of there later origin! But, I think it's there choice to call themselves Suryavanshi or Chandravanshi... Bundela is amongst one of the newest rajput originated clans!! But, by the fact they're(bundelas) Suryavanshi's for sure!! Gaharwars-Rathores-Bundelas are brothers by ancestral origin!! Thank you!! It is about "dekhane ka najariya" it's all about right and wrong...you can't compare lord Krishna with Shakuni. Shakuni apnea behen ki andh Dritrashta ke saath hui shaadi ke Bradley ke bhaav se samasta hastinapur ke kul ka Nash karne ke hetu se ladhaai ladi thi woh na kauravo ke saath tha na paandav ke saath tha, but lord krishna fought against adharma not against mankind.

Let me tell you another thing, Satyavati was not some random King's Daughter. She was Rishi Parashar's Daughter, about whom he wasn't aware. Call it whatever you will, Parashar was Satyavati's father and the father of Ved Vyas too. The Veerya story is true, only it was Rishi Parashar's , and not a king's.

This is a good “What if” but again it is Absolutely absurd comparing Sri Krishna and Shakuni. Mahabharata is a Dharma Yudh and Sri Krishna is Dharma. Shakuni is being glamorised for no reason.

I love listening to podcast while cooking and one fine day i found a podcast on mahabarata i got so dwelled into it. Originally mahabarata was written from a male perspective. Surprisingly i found this book the palace of illusion by chitra banarjee which tells the story of mahabarata from draupati’s perspective. Before reading and listening to podcast i know the basics of it. Mahabarata is caused due to draupati. But i kept questioning agar usney yeah nehi kiya hota to mahabarat ho kya, is it really draupati which lead the great battle about righteousness. At some point i blame beeshma.

Satyavati was the wife of king Shantanu king Shantanu had Bhisma Pitamah from maa ganga, and Mata Satyavati herself had three children maharishi Vaya's ji with Maharishi Parashara, Chitrangada with Raja Shantanu and Vichitravirya her youngest son from maharaja Shantanu. Both her sons died childless then she arranged her son Vyaas to help her two widowed daughters in law (wife of Vichitravirya) there is very less information on Raja Chitrangada or say Chitra vahana, (some says she was a girl; some says he was king of Manipur at the time of Mahabharat and very less information on her wife; some research on google also says that raja Chitrangada had a daughter Chitrangada/ Chitra/ Chitravahana : there is allot of theories and mixing if names: as the raja Chitrangada and his dynasty didn't have much heir he trained his daughter and later Arjun fell in love with her bravery and married her they both had a child name Babhruvahana and later He promised to comeback before the time period of Mahabharat after the time of Mahabharat. He also had a fourth wife Ulupi a naga princess. Vichitravirya was very weak as he died after His Rajya Abhishek. and then Ved Vyasa helped the widowed princess with the method of Niyog where widowed princess could have children from his husband's younger brother if her husband died for their kingdom. Mata Ambika and Mata Ambalika had Raja Dhritarashtra and Raja Pandu from this practice and then Kauravas and Pandavs from them respectively, Kauravas from Mata Gandhari and Pandavs from Mata Kunti and Mata Madri, and Karn from Mata Kunti, her abended child through a boon. Vidur ji was child of one of Palace maids although he had royal blood in himself, Mata Satya Vati discriminated him and on the basis of his intelligence He was Raj Mantri of the Hastinapur.
