On the table and harmonium were his most loved accompanists Faiyyaz Khan and Om Prakash about whom Panditji used to say that they were a dream team-just like accompanists should ideally be….encouraging and quietly supportive and, making a performer most comfortable and helping him shine…On the tanpuras are his shishyas Rita Lahiri and Girija Madhavan.
