There is so much of his Guru's intellect here and Pandit Bhawalkar has effortlessly made it his own. This is genius. I once heard him sing Durga. Perhaps the best ever. Such a tragedy we call raag daari sangit is more pure form of particular Raaga but it comes with more purity when sung in dhrupad form as it revolves around the microtones. (Shrutis)

In Gandharva vidyalya the form of dhrupad is strict in some examinations but they don't allow such rendition due to lack of time moreover they focus on rhythmic combination ekpat duppat .😒 How those students will come to know the dhrupad shaili is this one not that typical.
