Dont have to change anything, as everything is as it should be, doesnt belong to a 'self'. So no need to make a I, me or mine out of dukka (patticca sammuppada- delusion spans out of nama-rupa, thus leading to consciousness & the entire mass of ill (existence/suffering), even the least bit of consciousness/existence is dukka, one who enters nirodha samapatti will know this, or even any rupa jhana or arupa states for that matter i suppose). Also future is uncertain. It s just all 'dukka' (goes without saying- 'anitta & anatta' as well), whichever end you grab the snake from, it s just all dukka. Getting what you want is suffering- as you dont wanna loose it. Getting what you dont want is also suffering, inevitably (apriyehi sampayogo). Also priyehi vippayogo is dukka. Instead of having freedom of desire (having everything as you wish, as it will be a hindrance to see through delusion without some suffering perhaps), anyways best thing is freedom from desire, no wishes and content with what one has or faces (read meaning of karaniya metta sutta), as there is no one in there, nobody home, just an empty process, dependently arising and ceasing :)
