I seem to always stick with the boring colors, but the green is definitely a looker!

Just realized Beluga is the color of the caviar (from a different animal), not the color of the whale. I'm officially an idiot 🙈😅

I'm more of an idiot, because I never would have figured that out. I watched this video just after I ordered it. Great review, and very funny. Subscribed.

Slightly heavier jackets are better for cx skiing. I feel the super-light madness has gone far enough, then I am freezing my ... because of it. I will consider this jacket.

I’m so tempted to get this for snowshoeing and winter camping. Any chance you have tested the breathability when the jacket has wetted out?

Can’t say that I have, sorry!

That they do! Looking forward to reviewing some more of their stuff.

So its only waterproof because of DWR? Than its not more waterpropf than any other softshell with a DWR treatment applied?!??

Is it PFC free? I dont think so, there is only said PFAS free on some sources but never PFC free..

Can you wear a bobble hat or buff under the hood? 🤯
@BelgianHikers2 жыл бұрын
Sure, some people even wear a helmet underneath (though that doesn't seem all that comfortable to me). Regular hats, buffs, midlayer hoods: no problem.

I thought this would be a game changer for me.....but it just isn't waterproof at all. The top of the shoulders are awful and soak through for some reason!!! I went for the Kangri eventually.

Rab rates the Kinetic's waterproofness 3/5, and the Kangri 5/5. I figure that's about right. Wouldn't want to spend hours in the rain with it, but I can't say it's ever really soaked through for me.
