Hi, I had a dimarzio Mo Joe and a PAF pro available so I installed them. The original pickups weren't bad but I decided to change themand to my ears the difference is very noticeable. if you're gonna buy this guitar the pick ups are great. I had these kicking around and the change was initially due to thinking white pickups would look awesome!! the sound was the bonus. hope that helps

Yeah, it's an SLX. They were made in India up to 2011ish...which is when they moved to Indonesia.
