Very cool. It’s a shame that Rabaconda is obscene with their pricing. They’d sell 20x more if they were reasonably priced.

I recently won a Rabaconda and have used it a few times. With some practice I'm already in the 12-14 minute range installing a mousse and tire. With some practice I could probably break the 10 minute mark but not so sure I'll hit 3 minutes. So far it's been great and much easier than my previous method of using a 5 gallon bucket! Good product.

First time I changed a mousse without a tire changing tool, took me a tad over 3 hours. Can now change a soft mousse in about 15 mins, but my tire changer has some serious flaws and acts simply like a holder. The Rabaconda is on my list of things to get when I upgrade!

I know they made it to fit in the bag to Cary but if they put in the extra pieces of tubing to complete the ring it would not flex when trying to get the extra leverage in the special slot for the tire iron . Maybe Gen 5

Changing a tire on a motorcycle - hate it with a passion, but the more times you do it, obviously, the better and faster you'll get. Im looking at something like this for changing tires at home, but I can imagine the shipping cost to Norway is a bit too hefty.

I have a pretty good technique for removing/installing tubed tires without a tire changer or wheel stand. It usually only requires two of the short (8" long) motion pro tire irons. About two months ago I tried using that same technique to install mousses. Fortunately I bought some motion pro bead buddy tools before starting the install. Without those I probably would have given up. Many lessons were learned. I'm not sure how much time it actually took to install the tires with mousses because I had to walk away several times. Adding to the struggle was the fact that my garage was fast approaching spontaneous human combustion temperatures in the AZ summer heat. I could probably do it in AN hour, rather than the many hours it took the first time. I still see one of these Rabaconda tools in my future since I do like running mousse inserts.

That mousse looks massive in that tire. Makes it waay harder when you gotta put a monster mousse in. The reason i hate mounti michelin mousses.

Out of curiosity, I have a 21" x 2.15" spoke wheel (XL883C) or Sportster 883 Custom. Can this/will this product be compatible or is it recommended ADV wheels only?

This should work fine for your application, but it is mainly meant for off-road tires with bib mousses. Rabaconda is actually coming out with a street bike tire changer specifically for sport bikes, cruisers and Harley's in a few months. You can check out more information on their website here: us.rabaconda.com/products/street-bike-tire-changer

A pair of long spoons and some Windex to lube the bead is all one really needs to easily change tube tires on dirt bikes, as tubes are easy. A "Baja No Pinch" tire tool is a nice luxury for putting the tire back on and minimizing the change of biting the tube with the tire iron. Have mounted bibs with a Rabaconda, for me it is definitely a two man job as it helps to have a 2nd person holding the multiple spoons while the lead installer works their way around the wheel. Even this video had the narrator helping a bit. Bibs are a bitch to do, but the Rabaconda at least makes it possible. The Rabaconda spoons are the shiznits, as is the stand. It is all good stuff.

@@danialdunson. I think your misunderstanding me mate. I don’t mind scratching the rims doing what it’s made to do but it’s a bit like shopping trolley dents on a new car. They piss you off. It’s just a pet hate of mine damaging shit unnecessarily when easily avoidable.

how did you scratch you rim if the rabaconda doesnt actually touch the rim? if the levers scratch it just dip them in epoxy

@@elihautamaki547. You ever changed a tyre. Of course it’s the levers that contact the rim. I use the alloy RHK spoon type levers and don’t really have a problem but what I was getting at is that they try to make this thing out like it’s a game changer when it’s not. Still over 8 minutes and with someone else helping and handing you lever after lever after lever. Good for mooses and that’s about it, with the help of someone else.

You ride motocross? Cause that bib will need to be beat to death to be soft enough for rocky Enduro racing. Mine had 30 hours and I still took slices out of it for a 110. M18 pops right in and is ready to get shreddy in an hour or three.
