I have listened to Rabbi Wein and even the criticism of Orthodox Judaism by some. But the problems are far worse then what Rabbi Wein stays and the worst is in the congregation he founded in Monsey NY. The head of the sisterhood who has the initials of HK had her nephew intermarry and the family and no issue of that isn't a good thing by her family. Her sister in law is a militant vegetarian and this son is her son seems to be her favorite and to marry a non-Jewish woman and this is your nephew and to be the head of the sisterhood. Something is very wrong. ANd yet this synagogue continues to delete any criticism of their congregation in Monsey NY. We are not talking about just corruption here. We are talking about intermarriage which how can Jewish women compete with this. And the mentality in the family is punishing men who are easy targets but this doesn't help anyone either. This part of the family that went to Rabbi Wein's shul has encouraged my family to pretend I don't exist or am mentally disturbed even though I am not as if I was people wouldn't trust me in roles that require social skills.

In parts of my family who attended Rabbi Wein's shul Orthodox Judaism is simply a form of identity politics and nothing is off limits.
