Dear Rabbi, I folllow regularly your insightful shiurim, that my family value a lot. We have one of our boys presently serving in tsanchanim, waiting with all the other boys, their orders to go in and destroy Hamas. How is it then, when our boys are putting their lives on the line, in such a kiddush hashem, that we now see a video of rav grossman saying they shouldn't go in, with very few references I might add. All this under the flag of machon shilo!

It's up to you whether or not you wish to fast there's no prohibition against voluntarily fasting and Judaism there multiple reasons why one may do this and people used to do it regularly. That being said there is no obligation to fast tommrow .
