That is not at all true , the real Christians they know who they are and with the power of the Holy Spirit they changed the whole world . Obviously you never heard what the Holy Spirit does through those that belong to Christ, and not to one or few persons but millions, real Christianity it’s not a religion but a solution. . We Christians didn’t started this religion, but it’s the promise that God of Abraham, Isaac , Jacob ,gave. It to your parents .

Very truye dear Sir. Without God we have and are NOTHING! I'm only 6 minutes into the talk so far, and tears welling up! Very simple compassionate, love filled, and stating such obvious truths even a child can and sometimes does know, making for such a powerful message. I believe in Messiach, and have dumped religion and politics. And sometiems we see that as awakening or spiritually shaping up starts to take effect, the 'evil'' gets mad and has a go at us. As the old saying goes in my own words here ''Peace they all cry for, then disaster comes upon them'', but the true Messiach WILL stay faithful to God's Holy promise and to God's faithfullness. As a non-aligned person to any religion, i can really relate to this good man's manner spirit and words.

Dearest Rabbi, I always get something new to think about, or a different way to look at matters whenever I enjoy one of your talks! Believe it or not, I was surprised to think of Hashem 'needing' me! He is the Creator, the Great Patriarch, what could mere mortals do for him? I think I understand a bit now. Companionship? The joy of creating 'children' and being a teacher, guardian, and protector for them? Of being needed, and perhaps loved and appreciated a bit? Thank you for another inspirational discourse! May Hashem hold you in the palm of his hand, may He bless you and yours. Shalom.

27:10 "does g-d ever say in the torah that he loves us? once.. but it does say that we are commanded to love him ( first paragraph of the shema). So if love is destroying relationships, minimizing the importance of the person, and only pursuing closeness to them for their love, why does g-d ask us to love him?
@Eve_369635 жыл бұрын
Because these are the rules that God created. Also in loving Him, we also love ourselves and the humanity and beyond. It is hard to get rid of the ego and that is the real problem with many humans. Once we forget ourselves for a minute, the eyes open up and we see that we not only love God, but that love is everything.
@matisyahup6135 жыл бұрын
Sanela H. that is what the rav was trying to discourage us from. love has become some entity people chase. what if I have no ego, and my eyes are open, but I hate g-d, but I still follow the torah?
@Eve_369635 жыл бұрын
@@matisyahup613 Why would you hate God?
@Eve_369635 жыл бұрын
@@matisyahup613 Well I am not of a jewish faith, but I know everyone's message is the same. I know in this world we are fascinated with our bodies, we adorn it, we love other bodies, we want to have them, we tend to get blinded in the money chase, we want people to like us, do anything for the attention... these are the ego things and have little to do with love. The love that we give, when it is given with the pure heart of wanting nothing in return is what is God trying to teach us. When He demands to love Him, it is really for us. When you see that this love is not conditional, that is also when you recognize the God in your heart.
@matisyahup6135 жыл бұрын
@@Eve_36963 No I do not hate g-d, but the love you speak of, the unconditional love, is rare to find. As the Rav said, it has become this ideal people run after, just like the money and nice body you mentioned. So g-d commands us to love him. Love him unconditionally, despite all the problems in the world, we are really commanded to love him unconditionally. The only way I can continue following torah is through the idea spoken of in the Mishna which says we are obligated to bless hashem for the good, and the bad. Why the bad? because what we perceive as bad, is really good. So everything hashem does is unconditionally love towards us. Then when we love him for everything he created, automatically love of fellow man falls into place because they are also part of this divine plan.

And there are many places in TaNaH where we can find words about God's love spoken through the prophecy. «“At the same time,” says the LORD, “I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be My people.” Thus says the LORD: “The people who survived the sword Found grace in the wilderness- Israel, when I went to give him rest.” The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel! You shall again be adorned with your tambourines, And shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice.» (Jeremiah 31:1-4)

Hi Rav Friedman So many people, Rabbanim, are saying that if we do not get to Eretz Yisroel before the 'end' people will not make it or will suffer so tremendously. This is clearly not your view, or am I misguided. If it isnt your view then what is the view? I just need to quit feel pressure because I want to go so badly. Just cannot figure out the logistics with circumstances here.

I'm confused why a Jewish Rabbi calls our father Creator "God" = Dog in English if we write the name backwards...why doesn't he call our father Creator Adonai or Yahuha in Jewish...can anyone enlighten me please brothers?
