Rabbi Resigns from Harvard Following University President's Remarks | EWTN News Nightly

There are new developments following the recent Congressional testimony by 3 university presidents regarding antisemitism on campus. Rabbinic Fellow for the Anti-Defamation League, Rabbi David Wolpe, joins to tell us more about why he resigned from his position at Harvard. Harvard President Claudine Gay apologized today for her remarks on Capitol Hill earlier this week. Rabbi David shares his reaction to the exchange she had with New York Representative Elise Stefanik. He discusses what he believes is at the root of why prominent universities have been responding the way they have to threats against Jewish students. In his resignation announcement, the rabbi said there is an ideology gripping many students and faculty that is "intrinsically evil". He explains whether he plans to still serve the student community at Harvard in any way moving forward or whether he is removing himself completely. Rabbi David fills us in on whether Harvard officials have reached out to him since his resignation.
