Ephraimites were not Jews, not racially nor ethnically, they were pagan Hebrews idolaters of images (1 kings 30 ) "And this thing became a sin; the people walked as far as Dan to worship before one of the calves." they were usually at war with their Jewish brothers for most of the almost 200 years of existence, until the lord exiled them among the nations. thus it can not be identified as a race or ethnicity but rater as a Spiritual Nation.

The parable of the “tax collector and Pharisee” in (Luke 18:9-14) DEBUNKS the belief of without the shedding of blood there is NO forgiveness (Hebrews 9:22). The passage in Luke’s Gospel confirms that God does forgive sin without the blood sacrifice of Jesus.

The fact of the matter is, there was never a need for the gospels opinions in the first place. The children of Israel and their fathers were well aware of the way to God’s mercy and salvation through returning to God, repentance and providing charity when a temple was present, and while a temple was present the understanding of what consists of a sacrificial offering (only specific animal species allowed) and the handling of the matters. Referring to the gospels, that weren’t introduced until nearly 1,300+ years later, would be as relevant anyones opinions during our own century. Worthless.

@@timothya.olmeda7299 Aww I'm sorry, but the OP was correct. Tenak is an imperfect, man written book. We don't have to wonder about this. It's obvious. Plus we have tons of actual evidence that supports that position. This is why only 10% of modern Jews are Orthodox. And why 70% of Jews don't recognize Rabbinical authority and don't accept that Tenak is the divine dictate of Hashem. This is why 70% of modern Jews are either reform, secular theist or secular atheist. Because we learn our book from a very young age and it is beyond obvious to most of us that these are simply the traditions and mythologies of our people, as descendants of those people of the Kingdom of Judah, which is what Jew means. it does not mean someone who practices "Judaism", which only became a formal religion after the Roman diaspora. I love the Rabbi and what he does, but he has blinders on when it comes to the Hebrew bible and Torah. Cognitive dissonance doesn't allow him to critique the text with the same accuracy and objectivity he does the Christian bible. This isn't opinion, this is objective fact. There are SO many anachronisms, so many contradictions, inaccuracies, problematic parts of both the Pentateuch and successive books. We know Daniel wasn't written until around the 2nd century. We know that Cyrus was ADDED to the "prophecy" after the fact, because there is no such thing as "prophecy". It simply does not exist. Just like resurrection doesn't exist. There is so much arrogance in the Orthodox/Literalist perspective. It's pure arrogance, to think you know with certainty that something so outlandish is true? That is the utter definition of arrogance. And Hashem loves arrogance haha. The Rabbi unfortunately faces cognitive dissonance, like you so clearly do. Which is OK. We still love you. It's up to the rest of us Jews to look after the Orthodox. They are the lambs of our society. We are the shepherds. They think they are the shepherds but they have it backwards. They wouldn't even have a nation without the other 90% of us. We take care of them because they are our past, our history, our traditions. And that's cool and I respect them to do what they do. But that doesn't mean we can take them seriously in their interpretation of Tanach or for that matter, reality. It's unfortunate, but that is the reality of the situation. I mean, I can prove in less than a minute that Tanach is imperfect and that things the Rabbi claims are pure fiction. Like the idea that Cohen are descended from Aaron. Modern Cohen derive from over 21 separate and mostly unrelated paternal lineages, Y-haplos. Over 21 individuals are the male ancestors of modern Cohen, making it impossible for them to be descended from Aaron. And IF one of these lineages did indeed come from a man named Aaron, that means the other 90% of modern Cohen are frauds. And it's the same for Levites, except there we have over 30 different male lineages. Meaning, Levites are not all paternally descended from Levi. Not only that, but Levite lineages don't correlate with Cohen lineages. Which means, if Aaron existed, he wasn't paternally related to the other Levites. The genetics factually disprove every claim made by the Rabbi and Orthodox Judaism in this regard. And you simply can't argue with that kind of hard evidence. And no, the Cohen Model Haplotype does NOT prove the Cohen tradition, it proves the exact opposite. It's only Orhtodox who don't understand the actual findings, what the CMH actually is, who believe that nonsense. So right there, we see, if Tanach is "from God", then he messed up and somehow the Cohen lineages are from over 21 different individual males. So please, let's stop pretending its a perfect book. There are so many errors and contradictions a child could pick them out. And they do all the time. I realized by the age of 8 or 9, years before my Bar Mitzvah, that it was all mythology and folklore and antiquated laws. As did I would say about 70% of my very Jewish peers. Yes, Jewish. Meaning of the Kingdom of Judah, not of the tribe of Judah and not necessarily of the faith practices of the Kingdom of Judah. Which, prior to the Roman diaspora, were extremely diverse and this Rabbinical Judaism we have today was NOT eve nthe dominant form of Judaism at the time. The Rabbinical form of Judaism comes from the Pharisees, who were the equivalent of like the Jehovas Witnesses or the Evangelical Christians of today. They pandered to the poor, uneducated and illiterate, they pushed superstition, magic and supernatural mumbo jumbo. Which is why the Sadducees were in charge. Which is why the Sadducees had the backing of the aristocracy, the merchant classes, the rational people of the day, and why they controlled the temple and the social order. Pharisees were for poor and uneducated people, and to a large extent, those traditions still pander to the same mindset.
@jessereichbach588 Жыл бұрын
Well said Jenna. As a Jew I feel it is the duty of the other 90% of my people to look after, as "good shepherds" as it were, over the lambs of our society, the "flock", the Orthodox, literalists, people who still believe in fairy tales. And that is the case as only 10% of modern Jews are Orthodox. And about 70% of modern Jews do not believe the Rabbinical traditions or Tanach are divine works, just traditions. The Orthodox wouldn't exist today if it weren't for the other 90% of us. They wouldn't have a nation today in Israel if it weren't for the other 90% of us. So we look after them as a parent would a child. Because, whether we like it or not they are ours. They are us under different, more ignorant circumstances. With that said, lol, we just have to make sure they stop gaining political power or Israel will fall into ruin, Judaism will go backwards about 2,000 years and these maniacs would probably actually try to rebuild the temple, likely instigating WW3. Anyway, I too wish he could critique Tanach like he does the Christian bible. But cognitive dissonance I'm afraid, it's a b$%ch.

They still partake in the IDF and are Israeli citizens. 20% of Israel is Arab non Jewish. Setarian, Muslim, Christian, Secular all variety. Samritan included. Not to mention that entire mythology is silly to begin with as we know no entire tribes were exiled or scattered or any of that. So while they are pretending, they are also rehashing an ancient bigotry, whcih effects real life people. ESPECIALLY because those real life people are a minority in a predominantly Jewish nation. Meaning, the dominant population looks at this minority population, every bit the citizens, and to their face tells them they are frauds. So all that we are waiting for the return of Ephraim BS is just well, BS. It's narcissistic and supremacist. There is no way around that. And these are the people some still adhere to for moral authority? Laughable. They Rabbis got us through 2,000 years of diaspora, by keeping us together under strict religious control. Fine, that was what it was. But thats done now and they are no longer necessary. And it's just disgusting to do that to another people ,especially a people who have been through terrible things all the same and only today number 1,000 people or whatever. And what's even funnier is, the Rabbis use the line from the bible " you will remain few in number" as some proof that indeed Jews are the chosen people and Tanach is real prophecy and blah blah. Ok, so if we use that same logic, there are less than 1,000 Samaritans. 1,000 "True believers" as Rabbi would say. So who are the REAL Israelites of the book? They are us under different more ignorant circumstances, so I feel for them. But they have it completely backwards. This is why reform acknowledges patrilnieal desvent. Because we know for a fact that this matrilineal descent thing only really began AFTER the Roman diaspora, it originates with the Rabbis after the 2nd temple was destroyed, not prior. For 2,000 years the ignorant Rabbis have been holding the Jewish people together, and for that, we thank them. But they are no longer necessary. We have our own nation again. We just need to reduce their power in the state of Israel as they still get to dictate too much in terms of society. Like they won't allow the children of a male Jew to make Aliyah because they don't cosnider them "Jewish". Which is insane. The word Jew doesn't even mean someone who practices Judaism. it comes from the Latin Iudaeus, which was their term for Yehudim, or Judeans. The word Jew simply means the people of the Kingdom of Judah, not the tribe, nor the faith practices of that Kingdom, which, prior to diaspora were VERY diverse. As in, there was no such thing as formal Judaism. Just a slew of different beliefs and practices. Modern Rabbinical Judaism formed in opposition to he rise of Christianity, which is how and why it turned into this formal religion like Christianity. It was never that prior. Anyway, we just know too much about reality today to believe in these fantasies. And most of our ancestors 2,000 years ago would have agreed. The Sadducees were the dominant sect of the 1st century CE. They controlled the temple, the social order and had the support of the aristocracy and merchant classes. When the temple was destroyed, and the aristocracy and elite carried off by Rome, the Sadducees lost their power base, and thus, the superstitious, literalist Pharisees were left holding the bag. The Pharisees were like modern Evangelicals, they pandered to the uneducated, ignorant, and illiterate masses of ancient Judah. Which is why in the Christian bible, the uneducated, Galileans and fisherman all believe in Pharisees not Sadducees. Not because Pharisees were authentic, but because they were the sect of the uneducated masses. And THAT is the predecessor of modern Rabbincal Judaism. Anyway. I truly do love and respect the Rabbis and Tovia. I just don't love and respect their delusion as it were.

The Messiah came to gather the lost tribes of Israel prophesied i(Isaiah 49, 6) “And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.” Jesus spoke clearly about his mission (Mathew 15; 24) "He answered, “ I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” - but, speaking to the Jews He added in - (John 10: 26) "But because you are not My sheep, you refuse to believe. 27 My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me"... They have been scattered so far to the ends of the earth, that they do not know who they are. Indeed they would have mixed into the gentile world over time, even having children by them. They were divorced by Yah and sent into exile. Judah was never divorced by Yah and kept their identity. The Prodigal Son story is a parable of Judah and Ephraim. Judah being the elder son, that stayed with the Father. Ephraim, the one that ate out of the hog trough. I believe the ten tribes of Israel are in every country! Not just Britain and America. They are everywhere! And I believe 100% that they are coming out of the pagan church, and being drawn to the Torah. Letting go of pagan ways, and coming back to obedience to the Torah. @@janishart5128 I have a theory, only a theory...the 2 olive trees in Jechariah 4:3 pour thier oil into the candlestick is referring to the living word and holy spirit and we are the candlestick. The 2 olive trees are the 2 witnesses of I John 5:7 and Revelation which are the elect of the 12 tribes (Jews and scattered Ephraim gentiles) along with the father who sends out his word by his spirit to these elect prophets Zech 7:12. To those who consume his word and drink in his spirit (manna and wine). I believe these were the 2 trees of Eden. The NT and Tanak are full of metaphor that was literalized by Rome and was simply a spiritual allegory. Jer 31. The anointed one originally was the spirit speaking the word as it did to the prophets thruout the OT. It was personified in the NT before Rome corrupted it. Since his elect of both jews and Ephraim gentiles are candlesticks and he is the father of lights. That Light that shines in the darkness thru his people who live his 10 commandments and love thier neighbors as themselves and of course only worship and serve the Father ALONE as "Jesus" himself said. Its pretty clear "Jesus" never claimed to be God and only a prophet of many prophets who chose to follow the light of the father. Its also very clear the NT was corrupted. The contradictions are easy to find. If a person can rightly divide the truth from lies, they will find the pearl of great value hidden in a field. This is a theory of mine.

Will salvation save gentiles? What is a gentile? This is not a biblical word. The word in scripture for non-Jews is goy/goyim or nation(s) in English. Gentile is some pagan Greek put down word. Why do you follow a pagan. Follow the sages of Israel and you will learn or understand much more.

No, that's the Orthodox mythology. Samaritans today are indeed the descendants of Israelites as much as any modern Jew. Modern genetics has proven this beyond a shadow of a douht. You just perpetuating a 2,000 year old bigoted fantasy that was never true to begin with. Let me put it like this, the OLDEST Torah scrolls we have found in the archaeological record, align more closely with the Samaritan Pentateuch than the Jewish Pentateuch. Consider that. Consider that we know that Daniel wasn't written until the 2nd century BCE. That Isaiah was written over the course of like 300 years by at least 2 separate authors, one of whom was writing AFTER Cyrus had already freed the Jews from Babylon. Samaritans are just as much Israelites as we Jews are. And its time we put this Orthodox fantasy to rest. They've had a good run of 2,000 years. But they don't get to define what it means to be a Jew or an Isrealite. Which is why only 10% of modern Jews are Orthodox, and why 70% of modern Jews are either reform, secular theist or secular atheist. because we learn from a very young age, by reading Tanach, that it is MYTHOLOGY. Most of us do at least, long before we have our Bar Mitvahs. These are traditions, nothing more, and we can prove that with actual evidence. So stop being a bigot towards Samaritans. They are indeed who they say they are.
