I've been reminded of this, Jehovah Jireh, the Lord my provider, in different seasons of my life. 2009-12 with both my husband and myself out of work and fear of home loss, I was reminded as we sat with a man in his office starting an application to save our home, that I could trust God for it, and we had everything because of God to begin with, and we would keep it by trusting him now. So we trusted him instead. We still have our home, that He gave us, and we will have it as long as Father wills it. God is greatest! Praise God! We are in another season of succoth, as my husband had a stroke September 2nd , and we are trusting God for his complete restoration of his speech, reasoning, and functional abilities to carry out God's plans and purposes for him and our family. Both of us at 67 years of age and out of work, and totally dependent on the favor of ABBA. He is able to keep and restore everything the enemy has tried to take. Prayer needed at this time. Thank you!

Thanks again Rabbi, I love your insight into these feasts, they are a part of my life now, too bad the churches aren't sharing this more🙏🏼

All the feasts of the First Testament were fulfilled in Christ's single sacrifice. "For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances." Eph 2:14,15 As beautiful as all the ancient feasts are, each of them prefigured Christ, and were done away in His one sacrifice. We don't need to dress up and pretend to Jewify faith in Christ. "for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace". Jew and gentile. Not gentiles becoming Jewish. This is so predictably American. What we need is another Great Awakening. Jesus IS the Sukkot. He enTENTed Himself forever when He came at His first Advent. "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt (tabernacled) among us" This "rabbi" missed the whole Christological impact of this feast.

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is when brethren dwell in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; for there the LORD commanded the blessing - Life forevermore." Hallelujah! Happy Sukkot! We bless the God of All Blessing and All Blessedness! What a Happy God we have! Thank You, Lord, for all Your goodnesses to us! Your loving kindness and tender mercies! Thank You 🌹

I'm hoping someone will help me with a question that just came to mind because it's left me confused. God created Adam & Eve & everyone that has existed since then, now & in the future are their descendants. Why isn't everyone then a Jew? I know God said the Jews are His chosen people but where did the division come in? When Cain was driven away, the Tower of Babel or when? Thank you.
