This looks like one of those AITA where you read the title "hired someone else to break up with my fiancee", you go in absolutely fvcking ready to shred the guy to bits and by the end of it you're like nah king you good 👑 we get it
@AjaOlander2 жыл бұрын
You’ve nailed the exact vibe. At the beginning I was like “what kind of weasel can’t even break up with a girl himself”. Within a couple minutes that changed to “oooohhhh I kinda get it”. By the end I hoped that the poor fella deleted all of his social media and moved to a different city. The scary part is that I 100% have met women like that. “I never should have proposed” was a perfect way to cement in exactly who she was too.

She's so sure of herself. So sure of her moral superiority. So sure that despite what she does being done solely for the benefit of a client, she is better. Better than someone she sees herself in. She digs so deep into Rabbit because she can't dig into herself. She pulls out the insecurities in others to mask her own. How cute. Loved the episode.

"That's not a moral victory" - I loved this line. On the one hand, he is trying to defend his own career choices by bringing her down to his level. On the other hand, he has a point. And at least he was able to realize his flaws and feel conflicted about it - Liz rejected the comparison and instead questioned Rabbit's motives

First, please tell me rabbit kept the dog. Second what a beautiful way of showing deflecting in both of these characters. Admittedly Liz was a bit more of the dominant voice in questioning and deflecting, but it also gave depth to her that she would rather make someone else suffer than show her own pain.
@garrettviewegh6772 жыл бұрын
Shows that she may be even, or just as flawed, as Rabbit. Her moral high ground isn’t very stable either, not when she would rather emotional hurt others instead of facing and working on her own pain, and flaws. That’s the sign of someone who, despite emotional and moral logic and maturity, are either too proud, or egotistical to admit when they’re the problem and need to self reflect. Which in most cases, in her hurting herself in the long run. She may have affected Rabbit and make him reflect on himself, but the end of the conversation I think hints that she herself may go through more potential partners until she realizes that she often is the problem that needs self introspection. Idk, that’s my take. Really great series so far.
