I love Matt singing and I think he is a great singer and talented songwriter, the only problem I have with him being on blink is that there's no more difference in between vocal ranges like Tom and Mark did, of course Tom does not sing like before but I think his voice is what people tend to think when they say blink-182, so Matt and Mark being on a similar vocal range while singing it just doesn't sound like blink-182, but not hating on Matt or Tom, just saying plus this song is a very good melodic and different song from what blink fans would expect! Excited for the new stuff

Totally agree with you! Matt is great and these songs sound cool, but there isn't enough difference in Mark and Matt's voice that it loses some of that blink sound. Regardless it'll still be a sweet album from the looks of things!

I agree, but I think Tom has lost some of his range, and he lost his nasally tone. Some people may like that, but to me it doesn't sound like blink. Matt's voice also just sounds kinda similar, so there isn't that dynamic of two completely different voices (nasally and smooth) anymore. This song reminds me of Online Songs and Go because of the speed and how its mostly or all Mark singing. Love this song though btw already listened to it like 7 times

What was great about Tom and Mark was that they had very different writing styles that for some reason worked together. That's very immature to say "Hey, one of your favorite things just lost a key element, but you should embrace it and stop living in the past" - People fell in love with the band because of Tom, Mark and Travis, if you take out one of them you're obviously going to like it less. Just like if you were in a relationship with someone and they suddenly just stopped talking to you, you stopped having sex, or stopped doing things together. If one of those things ended, you'd be pretty upset about it. Fans have a right to be upset that Tom is gone, he was a key element of their favorite band, the band will never be the same and it will never put out the same music ever again. There is no embracing their new sound for fans of the old blink 182, there is trying to deal with their new sound while simultaneously missing a key part of the band that made them fall in love with it in the first place.

Probably because they'll never release something as good as their Untitled album again. Well, they definitely won't now, since Tom isn't even in the band. This new album is too radio friendly and overproduced for me so far. Knew the 5SoS producer would be a mistake.

+ToastyPillowsack What do you mean by "overproduced"? I don't think Tom's presence is a guarantee for awesome music, but that's my opinion. Even if he was still in the band, they'd never have made another album like the self-titled. It's a masterpiece for a reason.
