This week Keith and Ham head out to protect all of their hard farm work from the local rabbits. Nothing else has been able to stop the damage to their organic gardens, but let me assure you the Edgun Leshiy 2 and FX Crown are about to change the game! Coupled with these rifles are thermal sights from Utah Airguns, and the results are nothing less than pure efficiency and fun. Those zan slugs are awesome. I use the 49 grain in my 30 caliber impact. They expand extremely well.

Super video guys. I love the thermal images. Very cool. I have a question about ammo and theFX Impact M3. I pest for a living in South Florida. I bet you can guess what species…anyhow, I am getting ready to purchase an Impact M3 and cannot decide how to outfit it. I am currently using .25 cal and it’s a fantastic caliber but getting out past 75 yards is tough to bring down iguanas with one shot even when POI is perfect. I’ve got 2 Wildcats and a Uragan which all have their place but I hate sending slugs through the barrel just for long range energy and knockdown power because it fouls up my barrel really quickly. So I plan to use Impact as a dedicated slug gun. The problem is that I’ve never shot out between 80 to 125 yards, possibly 175 on a regular basis with a gun dedicated to slugs and how they perform at longer distances. I am also trying to keep the costs down. I don’t want to have to keep buying barrel after barrel after barrel in different calibers. .25 cal or .30 cal? My first thought is .25 cal in 700mm with slug liner and also .30 in 500mm for Snakehead hunting with pellets. I already have a .22 cal barrel kit in 700mm to play with. I just know zero about .30 cal slugs. I hope that you can help. Much appreciated and sorry for long comment. Joe

All good man. First i have to say that slugs should be thought of as 22lr. They go far and are dangerous in populated areas. That aside i am a huge believer in 25 slugs that are heavy for the best bc and plenty of knockdown power. I like zan 41 grain slugs personally. I kill out to 300 yards regularly with them

@@68Whiskey Thanks Keith. I am always conscious of my surroundings and need this slug set up (slug barrel actually) on the farms and along long canal and lank banks. I mention “slug barrel” because I will change it out with another barrel from time to time with for other uses. I think that I want .30 cal compact as my new “shoot out of my truck window gun”. Any personal experience with this setup? Im definitely going to try those slugs that you recommend but I am curious about .30 cal slug performance. Do you have any experience with .30 cal slugs and comparison to .25 cal slugs at same distances? Definitely leaning towards.25 cal slug. Thanks

I keep 1/4 hardware cloth ziptied to supports of my high tunnel, .25 condor takes care of the rest. Great shooting!👍

Now if it’s placement…well then I’m so sorry. You know, I shoulda known better that in this woke society I need to be so much more careful. I guess in reality, by the time he pulled the trigger, it was more like a lower right flanking entry wound and, if it passed through, probably through the lung/heart and out the right neck or shoulder area. Do you go back to zero for every increased distance. To get proper range Example 1 Do you go 50 yards and then to shoot 100 yards do you go back to zero and count up to what stray lock informed you to do or do you count up from where you were at 50
