Rabbits living with guinea pigs

It is a big mistake to house guinea pigs with rabbits. While they usually get along, rabbits will at times bully guinea pigs, and because guinea pigs are so much smaller than rabbits, the guinea pigs always come off worse. Rabbits have been known to injure seriously, even kill guinea pigs.
It is fine for them to be together say out grazing fresh grass or being fed treats but if and only if they are being watched carefully. They should never be left alone together unattended. Never.

I 24/7 free roam my 2 rabbits and one Guinea pig for some time now and they are doing great together.I never see any bullying and they love each other .

I housed a guinea pig, who's okay with bunnies and my introvert yet curious bunny together today. I see no negative responses from my bunny yet. When the Guinea pig goes behind her, she jumps away. She also rests with her legs behind her. Edit: My guinea pig never got sick from being w my bunny. They were close in a way and never harmed eachother. Unfortunately during a heat wave in 2023 my guinea pig passed away. I might be lucky that nothing happened, but that might not be the case for everypet (as replies say?)

@@TheFarmat64 Rodents are the closest relatives rabbits (well, lagomorphs) have, so they are relatively close. The whole Guinea pig/porcupine assemblage of Rodents were also an early branch, so, they are only just slighty more closely related to mice than rabbits are.

If you watch the video you will understand that as I say, that unless they are supervised, they should never be together. I was standing watching when this was filmed. I would NEVER leave a rabbit with guinea pigs. Never.
