For the people saying that you shouldn’t throw the rabbits, yes your right but in this case it’s ok, the rabbit had a soft padding of snow to break the impact, and it wasn’t very high of a drop so it’s not dangerous, BUT IN ANY OTHER CASE DONT THROW A RABBIT, THEY ARE VERY FRAGILE CREATURES

I am not here to make a big deal of it but I wouldn’t throw a rabbit ever. Falling can be just as frightening and uncomfortable for these skittish animals as being picked up incorrectly. Otherwise that rabbit looks like it has a nice owner and is well cared for overall.

@@TheEvilDedolok So rabbits are very small and have small bones, and since they aren’t flexible creatures if they fall from a hight a bit to high my could crack and break there bones, which is very dangerous and can be fatal. But you are correct that once you get to know more with your rabbit you get to know what they are comfortable with 🤗 hope that helped! ❤️ Edit: spelling mistakes

Just so people know, this is not animal abuse. Rabbits have fur made for winter weather and fur on the bottom of their paws so they don't hurt themselves or become cold. Especially since these bunnies are outside, they are fine and very happy!

Oscar Dark Even the throwing wasn't violent in any way. These little guys have powerful, strong legs. They jump from heights constantly in the wild. Moreover, snow is soft and reduces any potential danger. There was no issue what so ever.

Please be careful if you decide to emulate this video. These are likely outside rabbits who have grown a winter coat. Indoor rabbits will need to be introduced more slowly rather that literally throwing them into a pile of it. Also making sure the rabbit can come inside or go someplace warm if they want to and checking that they're not getting too cold etc is important

Anyway it's not like the owners are beating the shit out of the rabbits, dropping them from the roof onto the hard cement. They seem like very livening and caring owners, just being nice enough to let their rabbits play outside. The rabbits seem to trust and love them by the look of how they don't wriggle or flinch when being held. Rabbits have thick fur for a reason, to keep them warm from the SNOW.

What a wonderful way for the buns to get some time to exhibit their natural digging behaviors! I love the little tunnel system they made right away :D And guys- the rabbits are fine. Not only is the snow soft, but the height they were tossed from isn't any worse than what I've seen rabbits jump from. And they showed no sign of distress through any of the video- they were clearly having fun playing around in the snow, and they have the winter coats to weather it. They're happy rabbits

I used to do this with one of my cats. She was the adventurous, not scared of anything type, so when it snowed I'd throw her in it. She was scared at first since she didn't know what was going on and why the ground suddenly felt different, but once she got used to it she had a great time.

Both the girl and the rabbits are cute! My Kookyshek was really into snow and every time there was a lot of snow outside he'd paw the balcony door to show us he wanted to go out. When I was studying for my stockbroker's license, I'd take him out and an old carpet on which I'd lay studying the books, and every once in a while, he'd come over and try to look at the book the same way as I was, but just couldn't figure it out, or why I was looking at it. I could tell that he was thinking "you must be crazy" for looking at some squiggles on a white page. Anyway, he died on 22.10.2010 of lung cancer because my selfish and evil neighbours decided to start manufacturing meth,and the smell of it got into the whole house, especially the lower floor where I had him.

Please note that rabbits as a domesticated breed, unlike the hare, are not fit for cold weather under 12 degrees celcius. They can pass or get really sick from getting too cold, fragile bodies they have. Between 12 and 22 degrees celcius is the right outdoor-temperature for a bunny.

This is such nonsense. If your rabbit lives with another rabbit they keep each other warm. They also get winter fur. Sure if it is 10 below you might take them inside, but 12 degrees is the biggest bullshit I have seen. You can check your rabbits by feeling the little dimple behind their head and before their back begins. If this isn't cold, the rabbit is plenty warm. My 2 rabbits live outside in my garden and they absolutely love the winter. It is 2 below sometimes

Rabbits are at risk from heath stroke if its too hot and getting sick from lung/other infections if they are too cold. They cant regulate their temperature by themselves since they cant sweat etc. I am glad to read your rabbits have not gotten sick from this, but I would advice you to not have them outside in such cold weather to be safe. I dont know if its different where you are located, but here its usually down to 2 or bellow 0 degrees when the snow stays around in such an amount as we see in the video. And thats why I asume the temperature in the video must have been way under the 12 (or 10) degree limit.

Loved watching that. Loved the comment about the 2 foot drop. Indeed they are hardy creature. Us humans tend to attached too much emotions to every situation. We have a black 10 week old Mini Black Lop ratted bunny, living in though. First house bunny. All our 30 before loved out. 😀 Wish we had snow like that here in Hertfordshire - ENGLAND, our snow barely get to mm, let alone feet! HA.
