As always, Rabbi YY offers a captivating speech that is full of thought-provoking content and delivered in a thrilling manner. His explanation of the concept of eternal pregnancy and its connection to היום הרת עולם and the Kohen Gadol's prayer are truly original and beautiful, and his message for Kol Nidrei is truly inspiring. Nevertheless, I must admit that I find his interpretation of Kol Nidrei somewhat difficult to accept. If I understand him correctly, he would have us believe that they created a prayer to cancel all negative promises that one makes to constrain himself, yet clearly this is not the intent of the Gemara in Nedarim and other sources, but rather that one cancels all positive undertakings he has made as oaths, lest he end up violating and failing to fulfill his oaths. All the Gaonim and Rishonim who vehemently opposed the notion of nullifying our vows in advance did so because a person may not pre-nullify positive vows that he makes or he is making a mockery of his vows. Surely, however, they would find no fault with nullifying vows one made to prevent himself from growing and performing good deeds.

This was a spiritual insight, in addition of course to the literal idea as you explain. Many of the prayers, liturgy, and texts of our services have many dimensions and layers.
