Massive thanks to Rabea for taking the time out during NAMM to come on Guitar Chat to talk about his new Enie Ball Music Man signature guitar! Rabea has been a pillar of the modern guitar community for over a decade at this point and I am super grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know him over the entirety of NAMM (as well as a surprisingly decent tasting dinner at the Cheesecake Factory). If you haven't checked out any of Rabea's new music, you definitely should!

Rabea is definitely the best guitarist of our era. His feel and playing between every genre is crazy. Really hoping for Sterling models of his signature for us regular players!

I like how quickly this goes from being an interview to just two dudes who love guitars talking about them

5:00 It's pretty wild to hear a legend like Rabea admit he deals with imposter syndrome too. His talent and creativity as a player absolutely warrant this kind of opportunity.

Well yes but this isn't about talent and creativity. It's about sales and market size. Those things are not a result of talent and creativity alone, and when you compare your numbers to guys like Petrucci, Lukather and Morse it's easy to feel that you are out of place. All that said, I am pretty sure that even on that front Bea is actually doing great. His Chapmans were probably the best selling Chapmans, I tried to get one but couldn't.

I love what you've been doing for a few years now man, your channel slowly became the go to for modern metal and I truly respect your for this! Came a long way since our Riff Wars, much love

I’d love a tube amp rig over my modeling rig but I’d like to wait until I can buy a house and can really crank that shit up.

The Tesseract guitar chat is really the one we need! Would've also been very interesting to hear Rabea speak about moving from D'Addario to Ernie Ball strings, as he's been an NYXL user for ages. Why he switched is obvious, but I'd love his opinion on how he feels they compare.

Yoooo Bea!! I saw that small clip you did on his Music Man, it slapped! Kinda hoped you'd do a Guitar Chat :D

Great guitars, cool dude(s). That was a really nice talk to listen to, like listening to two friends rambling about their favorite hobby and occasional anecdotes. I just saw Tesseract live in Zürich for the 2nd time and holy... their sound was immense. One of the best shows I've been at, the crowd was fantastic!

Always love how much more relaxed these chats feels compared to say PG Rig Rundown. Especially since all of your interviewees seem equally enthused to be speaking (nerding out) with/to you. Can absolutely tell Rabea watches your content too, as opposed to just "did his homework".
