Further, at the time of this game's original release, the age of consent in Japan was 13. Which means, YES, according to Japanese culture at the time of release, Krile was absolutely fair game for our strapping young hero who only cares about oversized birds.

@@timarensdorf3630 In the actual FFV game, after the team beats the giant lobster creature (9:55 in the parody video), Cid remarks "You just got served!", to which Bartz utters the line "with cheese biscuits and mashed potatoes on the side!" (yes this dialog actually occurs in the videogame, to which Galuf rightly shakes his head and calls Bartz lame). In the original parody video, Galuf expresses his disappointment in Bartz's underwhelming choice of words by calling him "a faggot", which as we know is deemed highly offensive today. As you can see from the new upload, instead of calling Bartz a derogatory term, Galuf instead just punches him in the face. Nobody forced RAB to do it, however given today's political climate, it would've been only a matter of time before somebody got offended and started calling for his cancellation etc. RAB decided to short circuit the angry Twitter mobs by apologizing and removing the offensive term. Though with how politics get drawn into everything online I am not surprised by the change I mean I even got muted off of a college zoom class pulling up cdc statics on taxes only to get called a fascist for pointing it out by my professor. Short to say when I had her in another class I just played a drinking game with a 64 ounce cup of Irish coffee with about a fourth of it being 80 proof Tullamore dew and safe to say anytime someone offended her.or she would flat out lie on historical topics despite that being my primary subject for my major in education and with her teaching anthropology that I needed for some reason for my degree. The coffee lasted 15 to 20 minutes on average and I'd usually play on my switch with the final fantasy 7,8, and 9 ports along with the first 3 dragon quests only to answer two questions of whatever she wanted to hear for participation. Wished they ported the steam pixel remasters as besides the text option and how they didn't update the sprites for enemies in 6 but did for everything else I'd say they finally fixed them and even chrono trigger steam port as well is doing a lot better but then again with that one I only have the ps1 version to compare it to unlike how I played final fantasy 6 on snes at my uncles growing up so all I can say is it runs great, looks a tad better, and looking at that games pixels and humor reminds me of ff5 just done really really well as I Crack up at most of the time due to either robos over the top poses or cronos trying to get my attention if I stay still on the overworked for like 5 seconds as usually I just get up to grab an ice coffee from time to time only to come back with him jumping and waving.

Your jokes weren't hateful at all RAB. I can't speak for all of us, but as a gay man, the gay jokes were well timed and actually funny. You coulda left them in. It sucks cause I see a lot of content-creators doing this now. LittleKuriboh being the main one. His jokes were used to point out flaws with the way 4Kids dubbed the anime, not to be hateful/hurtful in anyway. You're sort of doing the same, except you're just making fun of the original script of the game. There's no harm in the jokes you had before dude.

In case if you're figuring out what scenes are changed from the original, here's a rundown: Skit with Bartz saying the Wind is calling changes from Galuf, Lenna, and Boko commenting on that to Galuf punching with Boko thanking. Bartz and Faris where Faris tell him she's a woman: removes part of Bartz' comment Lobster with Cheese results in Galuf punching him instead of facepalming and saying a bad word Raid on Exdeath's Castle where Galuf only reference Pirate removing the word before it. The Bal Castle scene: sign is added and removed Galuf's comment on how his own soldiers are not noticing it is their king who commands them to open the gates. The reason for the changes, like Rabtoons, to remove the offensive stuff and it's by the own creator's decision.

Secondly, juat look at all the movies we can pay KZbin to watch that contain the same types of jokes, many of them worse. Thirdly, It Chapter 2 is on here to buy/rent, and that opening scene speaks for itself. Fourthly, watch any of the numerous stand up acts/clips available on KZbin that have said far, far worse. One of the best and most underrated FF ever. Shred tears for Syldra and Hiryu (strangely not Galuf). Laughed at "oh my god he's a she" or Gilgamesh stupid jokes. Awesome musics, desert music is basis for Kuja's theme (and Kuja owns a palace in a desert) and Sealed Book is basis for Sephiroth's theme (and Sephiroth' madness started reading bunch of report books in Shinra Mansion). Stunning job system with lots of powerful combinations (even not counting the ultimate ones), and introducing some staples, like Blue Magic or Mimic. Fork Tower opposed Holy spell and Meteor spell, which you find again in FF7. The Mimic battle was funny. Yes, characters lack background and developpement (except Gilgamesh), but it is the only downside i can find to this gem... and even then it is less disturbing than FF8 "we are all related but you all forgot cause GF lol", "i'm emo edge lord who react only when Seifer is sentenced to death", "i'm your classmate and i won't be developped further" (apply to 3 characters if you include teacher Quistis), etc...

I'll be honest, good remake of the parody but that's not what i want to say Exdeath is far more original than most of FF's villains, and i prefer him over Sephiroth, why? Sephiroth is a guy who becomes a villain because he freaks out over his own origins, discovering that he is in part alien and his mother's body is kept next to Nibelheim(a backwater village next to a bunch of mountains). Sephiroth wants to destroy planets and feeds on the energy of planets...he basically wants destruction for the sake of destruction itself and his only real quality as a villain is “being good-looking”, he is not really charismatic or smart, he manipulates Cloud because they share Jenova's DNA which is basically a parasitic being and because Tifa has a few doubts about Cloud being a SOLDIER and actually being in Nibelheim, which he was...Tifa simply didn't know because he only saw him in the Mako reactor of Nibelheim, and right before she fainted because the mess caused by Sephiroth himself...and this whole misunderstanding is fertile ground for manipulating and brainwashing Cloud at Sephiroth's advantage. Ultimately Sephiroth has only a bunch of cool scenes and he is visually awesome...but is he original? He is just another random dude who wants to destroy the world rather than conquer it. Exdeath at least is an evil-tree that comes from a parallel universe, unoriginal plan of destroying the multiverse, but at least his origins are original XD

If you had the conviction to release this as it was, i certainly hoped you would have had the same conviction to leave it as it was...i hate the day and age we live in, where good, funny content such as this (that i genuinely thought wasnt out to insult/harrass/etc. anyone) has to be adjusted to cater to the small minority who love to piss and moan about anything and everything they find "offensive" otherwise you get "cancelled" or whatnot.
