I am right there with you! I would pick a canister shell over color and price any day over the 5" / 6" marketing gimmick. Hence why you never hear me say 5 or 6" shells in my videos like this.

What "zip ties ?" Joel uses tape..Try it, tape does a great job !!

@@GMAC-f6s that's what I meant. I always use tape and not even the fancy stuff just blue masking tape. I tried using zip ties and it took much longer and if you're not really careful you'll cinch them down too tight and have lots of failures

Oh man I got all of these (and more) Raccoon shells in the stash and I had a REALLY hard time thinking of what I was going to fuse for my next shoot and finally picked Ghostacular... Now to see if I made a good choice or not... I really want to see all the Raccoon shells... NOW TO SEE!!! Neon Colors - Great color sounded great OK I need to load those soon..... Let Freedom Ring Yup, need to see them but glad I decided to wait for the 4th I think... Holy Nishiki Awesome willows!! gotta get them moved up in the list too... Ghostacular - Oh man I think I made the right call!! I hope as many as mine break like yours did to see the rings!!! Awesome Demo Joel and a timely one for me!!!

I do really appreciate the demo of them too, you never know if they edit the stock one they shoot to have them all break ring side right! Now I am even more excited to see them in person!!! Sadly, it looks like its going to be freezing rain and snow the night I was planning on but.... There will be another night

I've shot a lot of raccoon shells and TBH my favorite are the king dragon artillery shells (RA62401). The strobing launch is awesome and they go super high.

All good shells but if I have to rank them nishiki, ghost, skies and freedom. Raccoon really does put out some really quality shells and I am glad that I will be getting the Nishiki and skies shells this year. Great comparison demo.

Joel, love the comparisons. Curious, don't you have a firing system? Your demos seem to use fusing a lot versus a stepped script on a system where you could add your descriptions and thoughts on each shell before firing the next.

Oh yeah, I have a couple of firing systems. I just don't want to use 24 igniters for the video haha. This also might seem silly, but the fusing adds more content into the video that people like watch.

Have never shot the ghostacular shells… went with Winda’s Donut shells. I like them in your demo a lot. Any ones from the kit with a mine or comet tail? Regardless, I’m going to have to save a kit from my Winda Donut case and stack them up to each other.

Why, why did you do this Joel? I was at American Fireworks last week and I purchased a few items and well I looked at the Ghostacular’s . I believe you know I have a couple canister shells for the 4th already, and then I see this demo and those are bad man. Well glad I am making a trip this Saturday which was already planned. Define better. This is the maximum legal amount you can have in a consumer grade shell, so if you're not referring to effects, you'd have to go to 1.3.

Holy Nishiki 7.5/10.......Neon Skies 7/10....Ghostacular 6.8/10...Let Freedom Ring 6.5/10.......I'm trying to like ring type shells but it's been a slow process....
