Why these Ford Mustangs got fire quickly? 1. Percat fire in Melbourne 2. Courtney fire in Melbourne 3. Waters fire in Darwin.

Percat and Courtney were the oil catch tank setting the inner guard alight. They put a fireproof coating on the guard and modified the venting to stop it. This one was a loose fuel connector.

From the shorter highlights package that was uploaded before this recap you can see fire in the cabin during the Waters inferno. The fact that fire managed to make it through the firewall and into the cabin should be a huge red flag for everyone involved. The series needs to stop these cars racing immediately and investigate the issue before someone gets killed or seriously injured. The degree of negligence on display here is sickening.

So another car fire. So supercars catch can vent modification didn't work! I've said it before and I'll say it again, crankcase ventilation needs to vent into the exhaust. Any oil fume or residue will burn off before building up and causing a dangerous and expensive fire.

Waters was getting away by about lap 4. Was looking like the first ford win of the year. way Frosty fended off the Redbull cars at the start and stole Feeny's P2 was a great. But then to go on and WIN. Made up for the Waters fire for me. Go Frosty.

Another boring Camaro race. Only level 1 race series in THE WORLD not to have transparent, shared information across the teams. When McLaughlin was winning race after race, Holden demanded changes/improvements and got them. This is the worst racing series since Supercars was formed.
