Great to see this again...think I was at this meeting. ETA...yes, it was this meeting, who could forget that first lap debacle? A couple of local-yokels didn't like that I was cheering LP (been an LP fan since the year dot) anyway, they told me to 'move' because they were PB fans and when I remained where I was, they burned a hole in my leather jacket with their cigarette. Really nice blokes eh??

Shame we don't use Mallala anymore, great little track, can see almost the whole track from anywhere you stand

Great little track that's for sure. Spent years drifting there & also done a few grip days. A shame though, as the track was falling apart & needed considerable investment if it were ever to be raced by the v8s again.

@@bartelbartosimpson9528 will be interesting to see if the Shahin's spend some decent money on the track to bring it up to speed. I know they have resurfaced some of the corners in recent months but agree the facilities need some big updates, but still a brilliant day out watching racing there.

@@mat2000100 You clearly don't keep up with news, the Adelaide 500 isn't gonna happen ever again. The South Australian state government sold all track equipment and assets to the people who own The Bend
