Back in 2E AD&D, i played a 2'4" Forest Gnome spellcasting bandit(customized character using the DMG) that used a 6' tall trident that allowed him to breathe underwater. He could only cast illusion spells and had only half of the normal thieving abilities. He was so much fun to play and had the b est luck!

Great video! I've never played above 5th because my game group isn't into high level play. I would love it!

My current Gnome is kinda an edgy punk, I went all in and made her a Wizard Illusionist, but took a custom background for Slight of Hand and Thieves' tools, the best thief is the one that is invisible. Add to this edgy criminal bent Disguise Self and passing yourself off as a human child to avoid capture and telling the guards "she went that way" certainly gives my DM headaches. The small size of a Gnome means they fit completely inside the 5' Minor Illusion area of effect so you can hide in illusionary barrels or piles of hay.
