Awesome Race, really enjoyed it. My nailbiting moment was 16:15 The Number 88 Mercedes AMG was tortured by just anybody that had a chance, but they won!! Tnx for this great Highlight Video! Also a shout out @GTWorld for the stream, as well as all the Commentators, and the nice company with lots of people watching and chatting during the Stream. Yes lots of punctures, just look at all the debris along the track, out of the ideal line cars pick up nuggets of rubber, small pieces of carbon and bolts, fasteners etc. It's a miracle any tyre stays in one piece for over 45 minutes per cycle. Just my 2 Cents..

It was an awesome race! I usually don't have a particular team I root for, but a few weeks back at Lime Rock I saw Jules Gounon legitimately be the best driver on the track, but having watched British GT and GTWC Europe I was so excited to see him race at my home track. Great win by the AKKODIS ASP Mercedes! But all-in-all a fantastic 24 hours of Spa

The race was amazing, but one thing really let me down me about your coverage. Why didn't you streamed the rest of the onboard cameras? You took away one of the coolest things especially for those who can't witness a race like this in person. I remember in 2017 and 2018 when you had like 10 onboard streams available. Then I was already disappointed in 2020 because we only had a "onboard mix" stream, but now in 2022 it's even worse, we only had 3 sponsored car onboards that race in lower categories. Please bring back multiple streams next year. WEC, IMSA and N24 all do it, you used to do it, it makes no sense to take it away!

I hope GT is starting to gain more attraction/attention with all the Championships making a particular effort to make it more appealing to Manufacturers to participate by making it so, not ungodly expensive, to pay to play. Sorry I have to do it boys, but I'd like to see more Corvette and Mustang in GT3, though, both those companies are broke and buried in debt, but still. Merica.

Actually both Ford and Corvette will enter in 2024 with a real GT3 car and Ford will actually use the Mustang.

Anyone know why the safety car periods where so long? We were there and saw several 20-30 minute safety car procedures. Most of which without any obtsacles left on track.

It could have been down to small debris needing to be cleared up too. Cars and large debris easy to notice. It's the little bits that risk tyre damage and why it probably longer to get to green

The punctures were much later into the race, also why would they restart? The tyres would have been the same at both starts + they can't just delay the whole race like that.

I still don't understand why the Red Flag came out. I watched it live and best I could tell there was oil on the track somewhere, but that would constitute a yellow flag not a red one, unless the spill was massive. We never really got an explanation for that Red Flag. So what gives?

The red flag wasn't for the oil, that happened after the crash. They brought out the red flag because of the big crash of the Porsche and the barrier repairs they had to do afterwards.

I'm not sure they can technically call this a 24hr race when the clock still counted down during the red flag stoppage. If a red flag means 'race stopped' then everything should stop including the race clock

That's the standard procedure for any race. The race ends at the same time it started a day later. If they would stop the clock during red flags these races could take weeks.
