10:45 did you miss speak on the nomenclature? You said 4L75. Did you mean 3l75? Or late 700R4?

You may have noticed this,, but Something I just noticed, when dealing with the center support. The 4l80e had different styles. The early center support piston was thicker than the late model.

I know this video is old but are those Allison Clutches you are using? They look like a semi-metallic brake pads with the metal flakes in them.

@mountains garage Hey love the videos ,I’m venturing into building my own 400 thanks to ur videos..I’m looking into the atd aluminum valve body with trans brake with 1st and 2nd gear leave. I have a 4l80e drum with the 34 element sprag When u speak of doing the clutches In This pack (the 6 clutches) are those stock size 4l80 size clutches? Are u using the power pack clutch kit plus more clutches to achieve ur 6 clutches?I see u have to cut some off the aluminum piston.I’m just stuck on what clutches to order for my build..I also have the 400 smooth drum that will accept a 34 element sprag also.I’m stuck on which to use...
@bebetekracing24123 жыл бұрын
I just broke the drill it in the drum🤦🏻♂️..I can’t get it out.can I rig weld the hole shut from the back where the sprag goes and make a new hole?or is this drum junk🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

Great content. Looking into building a 4x4 turbo 400 with trans brake for a turbo truck. Do you happen to have any write ups on forums or anywhere. Videos are great but it’d be awesome to have something with parts lists and whatnot
