A correction: The first LMP race at Electric Dreams was won with a car that I had borrowed from Richard Rodriguez, that I believe was originally set up by Marco for Big Lou's a few years ago. Chris got the TQ at the first LMP race with this car, which still holds, and he would have won it if the front wheel had not come off (and I believe the front axle with it) during the race. I rarely race magnet cars, so it was an experience feeling that adrenaline flowing as the race went on. This car certainly made the win possible.

Marco, I totally appreciate how much creativity went into the build of the car... but man... seems like the more "open" we go... the less scale it gets. Kind of a bummer to see such a cool car be done up in "1/24" likeness. But rediculously fast.

I see you guys run rubber tires on the track. And now silicone. Are you guys trying to achieve grip on track or no grip 🤔 am confused. Because silicone removes the laid down rubber and grip the rubber tires laid down. Silicone is like a eraser removeds grip. You can run urethane with rubber. Silicone needs to be ran by it's self if your trying to achieve a clean track. And grip for silicone.

The track was totally cleaned of rubber after the first race, and most chose to run silicone for maximum grip and speed with these high downforce magnet cars. A few chose to run rubber, I believe. This is the ONLY class where silicone is allowed. All of the other classes at Electric Dreams are restricted to black rubber tires, and in a some cases limited to specific manufacturers.
