Not gonna lie, I'm a Corvette racing fan all the way, but I do miss the ford gts. And both the corvette and the ford gt are two of my top favorite American super/sports cars.

Great sum up, the GT battles are awesome, they put the protos deep in shade. Not just because they are famous name sports cars that you can easily relate to, but because they are ‘real world’ fast and reflect real life competitive struggle so beautifully. I lost interest in the perfection of the faster protos. This masters of speed category has become at best a boring 2 horse race with little to identify with.

This is WEC (World Endurance Championship). Moreover, you can watch: WeatherTech SportsCar Championship (ex ALMS (American Le Mans Series)), ELMS (European Le Mans Series), FIA GT World Cup, Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup and many other national competitions.

ImmortalHitman The 24 hours of Le Mans is part of the World endurance championship (WEC). The IMSA wheatherteach series has both GTE (called GTLM in IMSA) and GT3( called GTD in IMSA) cars. This race and WEC only use GTE type GT cars but separated in two classes, GTE Pro and GTE Pro-AM. IMSA is a great series and is loosely based off of the WEC and use some of the same rules and regulations.

This is racing not that boring NASCAR driving around in circle. To look at these cars as they make their way around the track like serpentine behemoth. Sports car racing, Formula 1, and Indy Car racing (except when Indy Cars race on the ovals) is the way to go. Let's go Chevrolet Corvette!

Why don't you let us play our own music if that's what we want and leave the race sounding like it really does. Half of the enjoyment is the sound of the engines; that is music enough for me. I've always liked to seek out that particular roar which resonates with my body; gives me goosebumbs, turns me on man. If went to a racing event and the engines were drowned out by some amplified orchestra I'd leave.

Because I don't have footage that have only engine sounds. It's have the commentary which is more audible than the engines and it's also copyrighted. Another reason is that I like to do musicial highlights/compilations and as there is the official highlights without music, people can choose which one they want to watch.

Sadly Porsche definitely won't come back anytime soon. Maybe now the privateers will get a more favourable EoT as Toyota won finally. Also from 2020 the new regulations might equalize the LMP1 field.
