Glad I'm not the only one who went with deep wheels on this bike. I too did a custom paint job from the base carbon model and went Ultegra Di2 and ZiPP 404 Firecrest. I know most would have gone with a more shallow wheel like the ZiPP 303, but the weight savings is so little, I went with what is essentially the most comfortable, aerodynamic bike. A climbing bike it's not, but at 17.8 pounds, it's not overweight either. I primarily do 100 mile+ Fondos and can tell you this bike can easily keep up with Tarmacs, TCRs, Dogmas, etc.

It's unique to the Roubaix, but it allows for 15 mm of stem height adjustment.

@@yonglingng5640 ....you mean damping, not stem height adjustment. Absorbs bumps. The bar and stem move as one. Future Shock 1 was three different compression springs (yellow, red or black wrapped) you would add to your steerer tube. You would chose which one best suites your weight and ridding surface. Now with FS 2 you get a dial on top as part of the stem cap allowing you to dial in as much as 20mm of travel. I've been riding FS 1 since 2018 on my Roubaix and it really does work as intended. Where did you get the Reynolds Disc Brake AR58 wheelset? I just called them about a disc brake set and was told they only come in a rim brake version even thought the website said rim and disc available. Clearly I am looking at your video with a disc brake pair. They claim disc brake is only available in the staggered AR58/62 and not a matching 58. I was furthermore told they would be contacting the marketing department to edit the website.

In my opinion, the Diverge would be better off without it. As for the Roubaix, I won't be mad if it doesn't use full internal routing in the future. But I'm saying this as an LBS technician though, so I could be biased.

I don't get the "oversized 7x9mm carbon composite rails are not compatible with seatposts fitted with 7mm round rail carriages"

Carbon rails on Specialized saddles are 9 mm tall whereas their metal saddle rails (chromoly, titanium) are 7 mm in diameter. This means you'll need a new pair of saddle rail clamps made for 7x9 mm saddle rails since the carbon rails are 2 mm taller than round rails.

Around 7.6kgs with bottle cages and Look Keo blade carbon ti peddles, in size 56. That's what mine weighs, but I have Roval Terra CLX wheels, 2x chainring/crankset, tubeless 30mm tyres, Sram discs, 440mm bars. So this one will be significantly lighter imo.

Love your videos, but if only mechanics could tell the difference between anti seize and grease (bb for example) The cups and bracket are the same alloy, therefore an anti seize will stop galling. Grease will let you torque it up easier and water proof bearings, but it doesn't go in BBs or hangers
