Yeah and he was 22 during this show. I love Loomis, Govan, tons of other shredders but ladies and gentlemen there has never been a guitarist who picks as clearly and cleanly articulate at high speeds. I remember reading an interview with him years ago and he said your tremolo picking should sound like a popsicle stick stuck in a bicycle wheel. Loved that.

I can’t believe it! I finally seen a video at the Omni! My uncle used to play gigs there back during this time frame. Seen Y&T playing there and Metallica just hanging out in the crowd! I was a teenager and got in because of my uncle ; ) Best times of my life

I have never seen it before and i watched a lot of his live solos, thanks a lot for the video, btw if someone is intrested in the riff he played during the solo it later on became a main riff to "Take a walk" with Mr Big
