@@amirjn9820 at my guitar pinnacle, I was at best lower level of intermediate players. And I had to practice difficult songs for months and months..(difficult for me) For example, it took 6 months to learn Slash's studio version of Godfather theme song and months to get almost half of "Black star" by Yngwie. And once I didn't practice it for a little while, I forgot Black star right away 🤬

A little under a year ago me and my parents went through an eviction and many different things happened to us it was a total mess I ended up living In hotels most of the time and some of the time with my aunt and uncle but pretty much since the start of that I’d been listening to this masterpiece and when I go back to listen to it I somehow remember my horrible experience with fond memories so Paul Gilbert, the absolute metal guitar legend, thank you 🙏

I've been a fan of Paul's work since the 1980s and I occasionally come across good covers of songs and pieces by various artists etc. Today I found this cover of Technical Difficulties by two eleven year olds, who had not met before and this is their first collaberation... kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5y8YZp3gtSKiLs . True, Yngwie had his own thing going on but nobody has replicated the entirety of what he represented or achieved. They end up just sounding like a robotic clone of parts of his technique but nothing more. They certainly lack his spirit and phrasing (80s period, not later).
