@@frigglefragglewaggit6923 that's not true man. Buckethead took a few lessons and inspiration (understatement) from Paul Gilbert. He was a prodigy either way. That said he was very blown away by Gilbert from what I read, and listen to here on KZbin. Buckethead deserves his credit 100%.

This is the best guitar song I have ever heard, Paul. While listening to it I am bombarded with such feelings... plunged from the feeling of falling from a tall building and tears of intense joy, to wanting to climb a mountain and wrestle the strongest mountain goat, to having eaten the hottest chilis in the world... to that of hugging my kids, or driving faster than the law allows, or dancing naked in the snow, or picking up my guitar and not playing anywhere nearly as amazing as you can... brought back to reality. But in the end, this song is ultimately an expression of the best life that can be. I can't overstate it. Phenomenal work. Top, top, top-tier artistry.

I'm honestly disappointed in myself for not discovering you sooner I feel like you may have been the influence I needed years ago. In the past year or two I've noticed your influence incorporated into my playing and it's had more feel and direction. I've always studied Hendrix, srv, page, satriani, Vai, van Halen, Clapton, slash, Gilmore, Eric Johnson, Anastasio, and I'm sure I'm missing some lol but those are the big ones. You, good sir have been added to that list 😃 not that I think you'll read this 😂, but just know many people really appreciate your music man.

He's still progressing... isn't obvious that the virtuoso has been intricate in the studio since the last time I heard from him, and what a display of witness of his long time talent for which I love his clean picking and refusing to hammer on and tap everything without the purpose of the pick to bring out the entirety of the beauty of each note 🎵🎶 in an entirely different delicate delight of delivery... I love Paul Gilbert and one of several guilty guitar members of my personal hero collection ( personal notes I love Eddie Van Halen and his workshop with hammer-on tapping with the fretboard that made him famous moreso among many music lovers and musicians alike.❤
