Typical high quality review by Keefer.👍👍 I have a strong feeling tha the bars at the frond position is the reason why the 2021 is better than the 2020 in the standing position. Maybe is the suspension set up but i think a more roomy triangle helps a lot standing riding. Especially tall guys

had a chance to ride one the other day. nice guy at the track wanted to swap with my 18 rmz450. got to say i loved every second on the yz and i'm thinking about going back to one. my question for anyone that has rode both a 21 yz and 21 kx what did you like better and why? i ask because a 21 yz250f is 8399 and i can score a 21kx250 for 6499.

Geez man thats a shit ton of money I have a 21 yz 250f and it’s a blast she’s so easy to ride and pulls hard but for 2k cheaper idk.

He said the Ktm revs higher yet the Yamaha is not really tuned much stock once you put a tune it revs better than my friends Ktm and he says the same.

@Steven Jackson the Yamaha 450 has and can get even more hp out of them so I have to disagree with you on that. Even test riders have said the Yamaha 450 with a certain tune is just to much power and they didn’t like it. I still have a 2016 Yamaha 450 and my friend has a new Kawasaki and he put the aggressive chip or plug in his and I still pull from him. So he spent over a grand on aftermarket parts. My Yamaha is still stock and all I did is run a TP tune.

@Steven Jackson I think it’s more Barica cause in Europe they are doing awesome on the Yamaha 450. And my 16 handles awesome. I was diving underneath my friends new Kawasaki and the others 2021 Honda. Barica outdoors a few times had tailed corners like crazy fast compared to others he just isn’t consistent. Guys in Europe look very good on them one guy has won 9 times I think and he’s always on the podium.

I don’t ride one but i ride with my friend who has one. Starts instantly cold but when it’s hot it starts like shit and he has to blip the throttle half the time for it to start. My 19 honda starts perfect hot
