I was never a huge JT fan but I really have to hand credit where it is due. Dudes a professional slayer, the way he cut down Steve trying to cause drama, calmly and professionally was absolutely outstanding. This interview actually has me more of a JT fan, straight up. In JT's defence too - he definitely wasn't on the Tomac train last year to the point where I even thought he was being harsh, realistic but harsh. He clearly called the year to 18, he said yo it's going to be a white wash and it almost was, everybody was upset with the fella for throwing Tomac and Sexton under the bus but he stuck to it saying, new bike for one guy and a new leg for the other? No chance they win this year. - obviously paraphrasing there, Love him or hate him, he's real. Looking forward to the brutal opinions this year keep them coming unapologetically JT.

Heard it dozens of times already...Jett the frontrunner, Sexton, Tomac, Webb, and Hunter in the close chase, occasional winner candidates Plessinger, Anderson, Colt, Roczen, and top 10 Mookie, Barcia, Prado, Ferrandis, Craig, et al. What I'm most interested in, which hasn't been talked about much is track design. 9 whoop rule still hold? Dragonback still a no-no? Keep the dated triples?

if someone didn't tell you the whoops got shortened, you'd never even know. so just stfu about it. ..and no one likes dragon backs... they had lost popularity 20 years ago. riders have always hated them and the equipment operators have trouble with them. That was the narrative when talking about him getting a package that he was ok with. I like my bikes and nothing you tell me will make me not purchase what I like (Yamaha), but if I didn’t know a lot about racing and was looking to buy my first bike I would not buy a bike that the best rider on that team said he can’t win on. I don't believe the best ET can beat the best Jett. Jett has no problems squashing Sexton anywhere where as ET and Sexton are much closer. Usually a good Sexton is faster than Eli but Sexton has a history of crashing when he's in the lead which is really why ET was leading Sexton in 2023 up until his unfortunate Achilles tear. Jett has proven up until now that he's the best probably in the world outdoors and indoors
