Yeah he definitely lucked into that first title but credit to him he put himself in the position to take advantage. Forkner was absolute ripping that year.

@Bryan S there's probably lots of us watching these guys racing and wondering, "what if"? I actually entered my first race in my mid forties. Turns out I'm better at laying brick! After that first race I couldn't even go to work on Monday I was so sore. A group of us dads were taking our kids to the races so we decided we should do it too. Those were some fun times. I'm taking my daughter to the last round in Salt Lake May 13th.
