I started College in 1989 90.. and worked for Lamberts in Stanningley Bottom near Pudsey training as a mechanic.. I had the best Apprenticeship ever for that small garage and was re building Engines on all vehicles almost within a few months.. my Boss J Lambert was a great boss but probably found me a little pressing at times.. anyways I used to help build John Lamberts off road 4 by 4 on that competed against The Siminite Sisters which I knew about and had a very high respect for. These girls were or seemed to get a hell of a limelight being the best there was racing over terrain mountains and Boggs deep enough to sink in. I’m very fond of thouse year’s and owe so much to the guy’s .. i took a lot of shit being a apprentice too.. i now work fixing buses down the road lol.. Those were the days.. The Sisters would have probably known Jhon and Andrew that drove the off road machine in competition against them.
