Jack Lalanne inspired me all my life and I feel like I'm 21 when I'm actually 58 this year and I can do 440 push ups in 12 minutes. I would love to reach Jack LaLannes record of 1000 push ups and 1000 pull ups in 1 hour and 21 minutes but I have a long road of training to be at his elite level which is almost impossible to reach. lol Jack did this when he was 50 years old so anything is possible if you believe in yourself and have faith in GOD. It all works together as a unit. God bless you Elaine and Jack for paving the way for better health through exercising every day. Rest In Peace Jack. Your my mentor and motivator to this day.

I watched him as a kid. He planted the idea of getting in shape and after smoking and drinking for about 5 years as a stupid young adult I felt like crap and knew exactly what I had to do I attribute that to idea Jack planted in a young kids head. I am proud I took that particular path. Its paying off in more ways than one.

Jack LaLanne was a blessing sent to earth, there's nobody like him. Jack was and is so inspirational, he was something of a sage and cared deeply about humanity. There's many health gurus out there today, but the LaLanne philosophy holds true. Thanks to Elaine for carrying on the legacy; a beautiful woman, a beautiful soul. XXOO

Mrs.LaLane is an inspiration as was her late husband Jack. I know when I was in high school occasionallywe'd see Mr. LaLane on campus - I believe one of his children attended or he had another connection to the high school I attended and was an athlete representing on the swim team. Mr. LaLane had a stellar reputation among the high school athletes, too.

My mother and I used to work out with Jack Lalanne back in the early 60's when I was about 4. He told us to have a chair handy so I used my child-size rocking chair and one day I fell while using it and he immediately said something like are you okay? I remember being very embarrassed because I thought he could see me through the TV! As an adult, I have worked out with various others through the years when exercise programs were still on TV and when I couldn't find them any more, I found Jack Lalanne on DVD and got all ten weeks and work out with him six days a week. It's just like old times! And he's my favorite one of all.

Jack Lalanne was a LEGEND! My dad is 83 years old and in great health due to him being a huge follower of jack. Jack was a pesco-vegetarian, he's one of the reasons I decided to stop eating meat 20 years ago.

We had a similar guy in Sweden, Arne Tammer. But he wasn't on TV, only weekly letters and some books. I am 55 and still workout the same way. Natural, lots of other sports, outdoors. Back then a workout wasn't just more and more muscle, less fat, more veins lol, it was also a self awareness, confident-rising journey.

Conventional raised or grown is the worse it has ever been. Jack had 50 years of nutritious food. Even Marcus Welby (the character played by an actor)lived to 99 because he grew his own vegetables for decades. Speaking of 99, if Barbara Feldon of Get Smart lives to 99 most likely had access to similar raised food.

He started it all. To say that he was the butt of jokes, would be an understatement. His positive attitude won everyone in short over. Thinking of Muhammad Ali….magnificent human body and enthusiasm….and being right. Fitness is our birthright. Legends , both.
