The very moment I saw Rachel and Chloe sitting next to the lighthouse together, the image of Chloe sitting there alone crossed my mind. It's such a powerful reference. I couldn't resist to make that transition

Also add in the idea of the sun shining on Rachel while Chloe holds her only for the sun to be blocked by the moon when Rachel is gone. It was complete and utter genius on your part to catch that parallel. After catching on to it myself, I refuse to believe that it was a coincidence by Deck Nine.

Yes! I'm very pleased that you noticed that. I'm absolutely in love with how the nature embodies the characters' feelings/state of mind in LiS and BtS. + do not forget that nature is among other Rachel's interests mentioned in the cast list for the Tempest. So I just can't help but think that Rachel is somehow the represantation of nature in Arcadia Bay.

I definitely got that impression of Rachel since the original game and BtS just enhanced that thought. From that powerful scream, to the fire fighters in the hospital saying that the forest fire extinguished itself after Rachel had been stabbed as well as all the warning signs in LiS. So much lore and fanfiction material there, lol "Yer a wizard, Rachel" "I-I'm a what?" Lol couldn't resist. Though knowing Rachel she'd probably say "Obviously 😏😏."
